Rocky_Latic Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Anyone had any? I bottled out of Reading, Norwich and Notts County to win their respective leagues in a singles, doubles and treble bet and opted for Lee Hughes top scorer in league 2 instead. Looking pretty promising already. Quote

fleetwood Blue Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Stranger things have happened - Alan Wright will be a good import and didn't they pay a decent fee for the Barrow skipper? yes Steve Mcnulty i think they paid 20k for him, although Alan Wright is now 37 he will still do a job in that league, his competition for his place is with John Hills. Andy Pilley (chairman) has put in a couple of million to improve the ground and they are almost ready to make the step up to the conference with gates averaging 1,000+ last seaon. In pre season they beat Bolton and Bury and they also made a solid start to the season with a 2-1 away win yesterday. Quote

Think at the time i saw it, it was 6/1. Quote
