daniel8157
I dont think this one has been done (that I can remember). Pick 11 players and 5 subs that are STILL playing that have been at latics either permanent or on loan I will give an example GK - Lee Grant D - Clint Hill D - Fitz Hall D - Neil Eardley D - :censored: M - Chris Taylor M - Lee Croft M - Richie Wellens M - Neil Killkenny F - Chris Porter F - Pawel Abbot Sub - Lee Hughes Sub - Sean Gregan Sub - Alan Sheehan Sub - Sub - Cant think who else at the moment but you get the idea

garcon
Why? To distract us from reality! Quite an interesting one really. Although I might struggle to differ significantly from the first suggested squad. Here goes: Lee Grant Neal Eardley Ryan Bertrand Sean Gregan Fitz Hall Lee Croft Chris Taylor Richie Wellens Neil Kilkenny Chris Killen Chris Porter Paul Rachubka Clint Hill Daniel Jones Gary McDonald Lee Hughes There's a few others who could easily make the bench. Ideally I'd have Kilkenny on the bench and a dominating ball winner in the middle next to Wellens. I just can't think of one...
Zorrro
Lee Grant Neal Eardley Clint Hill Fitz Hall Chris Armstrong Chris Taylor Richie Wellens Paul Murray David Eyres Chris Porter Kenny Cooper I don't need a bench.

wozz_oafc
The thing that makes these threads depressing is that they highlight how many good players we have had over the years at the club. If only we had the money to keep them altogether
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
Lee Grant Neal Eardley Clint Hill Fitz Hall Chris Armstrong Chris Taylor Richie Wellens Paul Murray David Eyres Chris Porter Kenny Cooper I don't need a bench. Kenny Cooper's pretty crap to be fair. The fact he's doing well in the MLS shows how bad the MLS is. Lee Sinnott
Easy. Ian Ironside. Scott McNiven Ian McLean Stuart Thom. Doug Hodgson Paul Rickers Lee Hardy Phil Starbuck Toddy Orlygsson Adrian Littlejohn Paul Beavers. That team would beat the current crop of :censored:e we have. garcon
Chris Killen? Really Garcon? Really? Yes really. He's the best centre forward I've seen in a Latics shirt since Graeme Sharp. His only problem was injuries, and I tend to assume hypothetical lists like this ignore injuries.
Zorrro
Kenny Cooper's pretty crap to be fair. The fact he's doing well in the MLS shows how good the MLS is. He was the joker in my pack. Chill. (Also, he's not actually that bad.)

Latics and England
I'm just going for a first eleven. G - R Turnbull (OK, pushing it as he went back to Boro within a day) D - R Bertrand D - C Hill D - F Hall D - M Richards (He fits in to the category as per the original post) M - C Taylor M - N Kilkenny M - R Wellens M - L Croft F - L Hughes F - C Porter
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
Yes really. He's the best centre forward I've seen in a Latics shirt since Graeme Sharp. His only problem was injuries, and I tend to assume hypothetical lists like this ignore injuries. His problem was also that he had no pace, no agility and no natural eye for goal. Over hyped, over paid, Citeh reject. And for the user that used the "He's on Celtic's books" to Killen's credibility. He went to a crap league, hit a run of form with a crap team and got signed on a free by Celtc. He's barely done anything for Celtic since, he's scored 5 odd goal in two seasons with them. Norwich took him on loan last season and he did nothing there. I can't even say Killen was a good League One striker.
