slystallone
The difference in standard was plain to see & hear. Although I was disappointed that he didn’t send the big CB off; having correctly booked him for the bad challenge of Guy in the first half I felt he bottled it; knowing he was already booked; in not giving the yellow for the pull back on Guy second half. That withstanding; the game was aloud to flow and it was great to hear him communicating with the players and benches in relation to his decision making. Top stuff. Also was great to have the reception for him pre-Kick-off – can’t remember a time when the ref has had a standing ovation and applauded the fans!! rudemedic
Best ref for years, he actually understood the advantage rule! Yeah I really like how football seems to be following Rugby and letting play go on for a bit before stopping the advantage. However, the moaning old so and so behind me hated it moaning "This isn't Rugby".
