oafc1955
Saturday 28th February 2009.............1 year and two months (61 games) since we scored more than two goals in a match!!!!! An unenviable record that needs urgent attention next season........we need two more strikers next season, an attacking midfielder, and a centre back as an absolute minimum and we need them from the start not on loan in bloody January. We have had a decent enough finish to the season to stay up but it cannot mask what has been one of the most unentertaining seasons in living memory. We need to start playing our football at the other end of the pitch or the mass exodus of our diehard fans will continue. Over to you Dave Penney!!!! You know I seriously thought at half time today that there was going to be an avalanche of goals for us in the second half - well at least 3 and then another team came out in the second half and with 20 mins to go I thought this has draw all over it. WTF happened - we could have had easily more than two and wanted the goal riot as we have not trouced anyone this season. yes we must have games with 3+ goals for us in it (and not 4 fOR the opposition either). What a bizzare game Edited April 24, 2010 by underdog
