underdog Posted May 5, 2010 Share Posted May 5, 2010 You should never knock a persons memories. I loved that time, it was magical 20 years ago. The season before though wasn't as we are roughly in the same postion in the league as we are now. Footy is a funny old game. However, yes it was our "15mins of fame" and says it all really that's all we have had in our 100+ years. A blip maybe, but what a hell of a blip it was. Yes past is past and we are a long way off getting there again - if ever. But some of us have these memories and they are fuelling my hope of what the tics are capable of achieveing. yes even this current squad have given us moments, they just need to give us minutes now - 90 to be exact and then a run of games too.
