Blue_Pizza
So you are saying if 8,000 would attend on a bank holiday, 7,600 would turn up on a Tuesday night - poppycock, the crowd would be down to about 6,000. Yes but thats because fans cant be bothered turning up, so they obviously aren't that bothered in the first place.

I'm not entirely sure the fans motivation is what's being debated though, is it?
OldhamSheridan
I would suggest that a fair proportion of those not showing who would may be exiles, who have gone home for the Christmas break. Most of those will certainly be lost, as it takes a hell of a lot of motivation on your first day back after the Christmas break to travel hundreds of miles to watch two rubbish Third Division sides fight it out. Locals, other than shift work, I agree have little excuse not to show.
OldhamSheridan
I'm not entirely sure the fans motivation is what's being debated though, is it? It is in a way. It's the fans who will show up on a Bank Holiday Monday as opposed to the Tuesday. Like any club, I'd guess that is around a quarter. Massive own goal. Massive losses. oafc0000
Just catching up since getting back from South Africa... Move our biggest game of the season to a night match... Sorry but that has to be one of the most barmy penny pinching ridicules suggestions I have ever heard out of the club....
