On Saturday, a fella who used to coach me was at the match. He works as a scout for Blackpool. I asked him who he was watching and he wouldn't tell me, but he left pretty much straight after Stephens got took off. After Saturday's display, I'd take £50k for him. After Saturday's display, I'd take £50k for him. Ok, I'll bite - he was superb first-half v Burnley, best player on the pitch and was a big reason why we are still in this league. We should be looking at extending his deal not letting Blackpool take the piss like they did with Eardley. You were at the Forum and you know how highly Dicky and Taggart think of him too. Players like Dale, Kieran and Black should be the future of this club not some sort of financial stop-gap. (Unless the offer is too good to turn down obviously!) It's baffling really when you think that two of our best players in the second half of the season (Steo and K-Lee) had spent the best part of 18 months either on our bench or in our Ressies.
