Croft has had bucket loads of injurys in seasons past since he graced BP , but apparently he has been playing out of his skin up north this season....... Didn't Tonk and M'Voto have a major falling out over a girlie? Its only a rumour but I heard Tonk was seeing M'Votos mom for a while and M'Voto was getting a little peed with a issue over who controlled the TV remote. Tonk loved to settle down after a hard days training with a warm cup of PG,feet up and catch up on the days activities on Eggheads....Tonks mad crazy on his TV quiz shows and eggheads is his thing, but the trouble is M'Voto cant do a day with out his fix of Sponge Bob Square pants and this just caused chaos in the household. Until one day it all erupted over weather it was going to be Spaghetti Bolognese with marinated mushrooms for the evening meal Tonks was looking forward to it but M'Voto went all medieval at the dinner table as it was a Thursday and Tonks showed him a lack of respect as Thursdays is always Eggs and Soldiers day!! The two haven't spoke since and the relationship between M'Votos mother and Tonks was under so much pressure the cracks started to form......... M'Voto always stamps his size 11s until he gets his own way! Apparently its true any way.... And .......................................... Before someone says it SOURCE!!! There wasnt any Tonks always has his Spag Bol with just a drizzle balsamic vinegar salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Are we in for any coin as COG is about to sign for Sheff Wed apparently around 200,000 mark...........?

Perhaps the four people (All be it Rangers fans) who went to the game informed me incorrectly? I was told they looked good , pleanty of vision (even with out Adams) and played the game at quite a pace considering its early in Pre-season............... They could of got it wrong but................. Tomorrow will tell!

I knew there had to be a reason for the most frustrating pre season, and the weakest squad, since M***e shafted us. Coming off the back of two pretty good results against premiership teams with by all accounts fielding a impressive team on both occasions....... Frustrating pre season??? I know there hasnt been any blockbuster token signings as of yet! But after previous management and there should I say rushed approach to signing players that make no impact at all or sit on the bench / physio table the season long and find themselves playing none league football or league 2 with for a non challenging team. I would take PDs approach all day long, least he is making a full and well thought-out decision on the trialists before we commit to paying them a wage (Which we struggled at times to do last season) for 1-2 years Keep it up Paul! Big good test tomorrow! Blackpool have been getting some rave reviews this pre-season.

Pretty sure that Darren Beckfords brothers a coach with the under 15s too. Good to see a few x pros on the books at Latics, some seem to have either had the careers cut short due to injury or the fact there pants at the game. In my opinion some times the best coaches are someone thats been there or nearly there and understand what it takes and the effort needed to be a top pro. Some times they can really push the youngsters in the right manner showing them its not always the talent that gets you there in the end, its as importent to get things right off the pitch too. I had a good freind at school who played at full back for my team and he looked like he had it all, signed by united at 15, england caps at all levels during schoolboy then had a awful injury. united released him went to sunderland as a community sports worker now he is head coach of there academy, loveing his job , loveing working with some good hungrey young kids and recently picked up a award from the FA for bringing some new fresh ideas to coaching scoolboys. By the way my mates only 31 years old!! And he was the guy that brought Sunderland to the latics the other pre-season. Not that its got anything to do with Oldham but its a nice story none the less!

To be honest guys! I haven't got the foggiest who Number 31 is............... Or pervious clubs he is associated with BUT If I ever get collared by the old bill for anything I would be quite happy to see any of you at the other side of the glass window of the identity parade.! Much love

Hello All dont post on here to much, Just sit back and read! my freinds brother is a goal keeper at Albion and he is also England Under19 keeper, and Dean Kieily has been coaching him and looking after him adviseing on all things football, i.e suggesting agents, training methods ect ect. I even went round his house at the time of the world cup and Dean was sitting on his sofa along with another top baggies player. Just a alround nice guy who will make such a good coach. I really thought Dean was settled in to his coaching role at the hawthornes but you never know? If we manage to get him well done P.D ! Great bloke to have around the young uns.......... Nothing against Paul Gerrard but I think from a coaching side the keepers would benerfit more from Dean!

Unbelievably skilful with a class first touch for a full back and gets amongst the goals! But poor attitude and abigger salary than the whole of our squad! I think he was offered a 1yr extension at Brum FC but wants a 2-3yr contract! He sat in the res and youth set up for most of last season and upped his game just before he was due to be released to try and earn himself a new contract! SIGN HIM UP NOW! We need hard working , grafting , knowledgeable players that are willing to listen and learn but most impotently willing to die for the cause.

Yh your correct! I bumped in to Sharpe Senior as I came out of the toilets at RHYL. I asked him if he was here to watch the Latics and he replied NO no chance! With a smile. Then he went on to add that his son plays for Rhyl and is just coming back from a very bad broken leg. So I stupidly asked how is he getting on...? He replied he is just coming back from a broken leg! So I left it at that! I have got a wicked picture of me meeting Sharpe (Not that the fact I've meet him is a big thing) but more to the fact a young latic is standing behind him with both fingers up! CLASS! I will try to post it on here! Other than that Sharpe did say his son is very talented but then he isn't going to say his crap is he........?

Come on Boys (And Girls) lets give the bloke a whole season to show us what he can really do! I know its been a poor start with at times some utter pap football! But yes he has had a lot of injuries and very little money to spend but we all knew this would be a transitional season! Come on let get the team spirit back up! Who fancies a team building night out! That's it a night out at the DOGS!!!! We could invite the 1st team squad! And people could air there grievances and views.
