They substituted Ricky Lambert for Lee Barnard while we bring on Dean Kelly who's playing his first ever professional football this season. Don't hate, it's a difficult place to go, they've got a new manager and are getting their stuff together, they'll be up there come the end of the season. I never expected us to win this, it was a nice surprise when we went 1-0, but it would have been very hard to shut Southampton out on their own patch with our new found style of play under Paulie. It's one game where Dave Penney's "negatvie football" pays off and you come away with a hard fought point. We need to be picking up some more wins at home, that's a slight concern right now, but this game, anything other than a tonking is a bonus. We're ruining our own season with our inability to defend set pieces, the rest of the division are well aware of this weakness as well. How many goals have we actually conceded in open play. We don't make teams work hard enough for the goals they scoe, very frustrating because in open play we're as good as anything this division has.
