oafcprozac
What's it like as a place to live and work (wife and two kids aged 12 and 8)? Thinking of applying for a job down there. Any info greatly received...
opinions4u
It used to be middle class commuter belt. But beyond the Leslie Thomas book which must be 40 years old now, I don't have a clue. I don't think it's handy for the 409 past the hospital though.
Nervous_Tic
I woke up there once having got the Central line and I should have got off at North Acton. It was 1am there were no trains left and I had to walk 8 miles back. Took me 3 hours and I had work the next day. True story.
leeslover
Friend and his missus lived in West Ruislip for a few years. Perfectly decent place, I also have a friend who lived in Pinner a few miles away all his life. Very much edge of London suburbia, middle class and safe. Every part has it's grotty bits of course... Property prices won't be easy round there is all.
