slystallone
I am a little disappointed not to have got the call up! I'd do it - really! Huddersfield seemed to. The oldest ball 'boys' I've ever seen!!! Edited February 14, 2011 by slystallone

It really is a better system as long as some idiot in the crowd doesn't chuck a bonus ball on to the pitch!

Lee Sinnott
On a side note about this match: A lad at our school was Match Mascot that day and he brought his photo's in today and told me the reason the kick off was delayed was because Amos came into the tunnell in his green goalie kit and had to go back and change to the yellow one as Daggers were playing in Green. Wondered why the were stood at the top of the tunnel for a few minutes. I thought it was because the game was in doubt as the ground wombles were still forking the pitch... mattyg101
oh and Huddersfield proved on Saturday that we arent the only team that plays multiball Their ball 'boys' were incredibly biased. They rolled/underarmed the ball to us, and threw it directly to the Huddersfield players rapid. Dont see why we cant do a bit of that every now and then. mattyg101
Because it's against the rules!!! How exactly do you enforce/moderate that rule? You cant! So why not just tell them to take it easy in situations which which would marginally benefit us. You dont get points for having the moral high ground. Lisa
Surgery over. Discharged. Wants to go to the match tonight! Good lad!! Good!!! Might see you later then :-) How exactly do you enforce/moderate that rule? You cant! So why not just tell them to take it easy in situations which which would marginally benefit us. You dont get points for having the moral high ground. Opposition complain to the Football League who then look at the video of the game and fine the home club. Alternatively, the bench complain to the ref who withdraws the multiball system from the game and includes it in his match report which is passed to the Football League. Once again, the football league look at the video of the game and fine the home club.
rosa
Surgery over. Discharged. Wants to go to the match tonight! Good lad!! A credit to his parents. And watching the match when you're a bit spaced out from the after-effects of anaesthetic/sedation really does make it a lot more fun. His medical records mentioned a little morphine being used . We'll see about later.

Ah morphine's not that bad, cocodamol (which you can buy in Asda) isn't much different to morphine, he'll be fine. (poor little sod, it sounds like a tough op, hope he's feeling better soon)

opinions4u
Despite the strong desire to have him tell my great grandchildren "don't be so soft - I went to Latics the same day I have a general anaesthetic" he won't be attending tonight. His Mum's decision, but she's right - he's wrecked. Still, good leverage for taking him to Brizzle Rovers on Saturday which would normally have been a big no no!!
