Museum de Latique
Is this the strangest advert in a Latics programme? This is from the back page of a programme from 1950. th2003
Marketing has certainly changed since the 50's. O'Hara Supper Bar is advertising Pudding's, Pies, 2 Dining Rooms, Service and CIVILITY as reasons for going there. I take it there were some supper bars in Hollinwood where Civility was not on the menu.

Diego_Sideburns
Marketing has certainly changed since the 50's. O'Hara Supper Bar is advertising Pudding's, No, it was advertising Puddings. The floating apostrophe had not come into common use way back then.
