I was reading about some ridiculous wages being paid to men such as Clarridge spouting cliché after cliché. They could buy the rights to a good number of lower league matches for the price they pay to put together that programme. The Championship games the BBC buy tend to be very exciting and entertaining. Greeneil83 Posted May 21, 2012 Share Posted May 21, 2012 I would like to see all football league TV deals on terrestrial TV. If ITV4 bought the rights for £25m a season. It would mean a massive reduction in the £60m a season deal we have now. This money would hopefully be made up by increased sponsorship and would attract bigger interest in the Football League.
