I drifted away for a time under Sharpe's management.....i stuck it out under Dangerous Dave (just!)

 

Sharpe just didnt seem that interested, motivated or seem to want it as a manager. He clearly wanted a role; any role at all at Everton - and it showed. Awful football from an awful person; who turned me away. It's strange I came back - once you stop going; it's far easier to keep away than return.

I only believe in it on the condition that the manager in question has been relatively successful in a job in the past year

Good point, but no manager that has been relatively successful in a job in the past year will be coming to Latics.

Successful managers do not tend to be out of a job.

 

If Dickov gets the boot, I have no doubt that he will manage another team in the future, as some club will take a chance on him.
