Ernie4England
With us looking more and more likely to face the drop with each game that goes by, maybe we should bring back the golden ticket for the remaining 4 home games in april, vs colchester, carlisle, yeovil and crawley. I think £20 for the 4 games is a very reasonable price, and we need every fan behind the lads coming into the final games. As we have seen vs LIverpool and Everton when we get behind the team it shows on the field, games like today with 3,400 home fans its hard to generate any sort of atmosphere especially with the performances on the pitch! So come on SC get this offer back on and lets add a few thousand onto the attendance for these last games.... we need it!
iamjonesyyoafc
Its a great idea for increased attendances, but didn't we lose all 5 last time!?
oldhamoafc
Nice gesture but it would only add 500 to the gate if your lucky, sad state of affairs but people can't be arsed watching that pile of donkey turd no matter what price!

As proven by last season's efforts it only added about 500 to each game. Last season we were in a better position, too. The best way in which to increase the gates is to play well and score goals. We've scored 17 in 18 home league games at home this season and we're in the relegation zone. Don't need to be in MENSA to realise why crowds are down. Until these figures rise significantly we can't expect any significant change in crowds other than a decrease. (We also seem to play badly when we do these initiatives, last season we only won 1 and the rest were bore draws or losses and IIRC Carlisle a few seasons before) Edited March 17, 2013 by NewBlue
Hands on
The point is that the players got stuck in against Liverpool and Everton and got the fans going. Against League 1 teams they go through the motions and as has been shown elsewhere their heads have now dropped before they even start. The only way you could fire this lot up is to make them all Guys!
SavageTheBeast
If we are still in trouble by the time we play Crawley at home we should slash the admission prices to 10 pound that should get bums on seats. Also this would not create a loss because how many pay in anyway. Also liked to add the bandwagons finally halted. Where's that drummer who was so eager to get the drum into Everton.
