thetramfixer
Would be great to see him score before the end of the season, but surely we have to be careful that it doesn't become a distraction to the bigger picture! I'd rather he didn't score but set a few up than it become an out n out mission to get on the score sheet at the cost of something else! bluehobbit
hes never been a goal scorer anyway look at his time at norwich played in a good team 9 goals. Mvoto has 4 goals this season as a defender in a struggling team. Crofty isnt the type of player who gets into the box on a regular basis to make the keeper work and hes no Baxter when shooting from range. Wouldnt mind him to chip in with a few before the end of the season but if he creates some chances for us we will be ok i think...
Hands on
LJ is right though, we are where we are not because of goals against but because of a lack of goals for. It is the right Royle approach!
tangerinedreams
Useless fact for the day: LJ is the 5th youngest person ever to become a manager, The yougest ever being 27...Iirc
Laticsbiffo
Having watched the Latics Player highlights from Tuesday night when Crofty went one on one with their keeper there was a horrendous bobble as he took his shot. It jumped up about 8 inches of the ground! The pitch needs watering then rolling if we are going to start playing football properly on it.
