Simpo Posted October 20, 2013 Share Posted October 20, 2013 Latics will play Sheffield United in the youth cup the day after the Notts County game, to be played at Boundary Park as per Youth Cup rules I presume. They seem to have plenty of goals in them this season, although I'm not sure we'll see a repeat of the 5-6 against Man City 3 years ago! Sheff Wed when we were 2 down a few years ago stands out when we came back to win with Eaves and Brooke up front. Alessandra and Smalley were always a great watch too. Overheard the youths exiting their mini-bus before the game yesterday and apparently Jordan Bove is the only guy who scores for the current team!
