OAFCM35
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/nov/27/real-madrid-christian-cross-abu-dhabi-crest Let's forget the whole religious aspect to this story because that would potential open a can of worms and derail from the subject matter. When I was a young lad I was brought up on the anecdote that no one was bigger than the club but with the way football has gone these days that's not true anymore all it takes is a rich business man wave the cash about and hey presto clubs are willing to change there logo, stadium name, shirt colour etc and FFP will only excell this notion that everything is expendable. leeslover
It's a sad decline from the days when Franco just threatened to shoot the referees. The council bought their training ground off them for something like 300m the last time they were skint. It's too late to worry about them selling their soul. I think I made my point poorly I did want to go in to some of the stuff that's gone on with other clubs but I was running out of time due to work commitments lol I was no way inclining that this was a tragedy because it was happening with one of biggest football club/brand/business (use which every you prefer) I just used them as an example because thats the most recent of stories I've seen floating about on social media. It's all around us these days, Cardiff City practically rebranded themselves because of their owner wanted them to play in red, Hull would of fell in to the same trap if their fans had not of fought against it, MK Dons well don't get me started on them, Manchester City seem to want a sister club on every continent, PSG seem to think they are above the laws of UEFA, we ourselves have allowed sportdirect to use our stadium as an advert for there website for a set fee and whilst all this is going on there's non-league teams who can't get games on for month because there pitches are flooded. I think it bloody stinks.
