A must watch for every football supporter

Recommended Posts

I watched that yesterday.

The real sadness is that absolutely none of it came as a surprise. The problems in the game start at the top (by which I mean the unprincipled charlatans who run FIFA) and are compounded by the fact that the domestic governing bodies are completely impotent and incapable of doing the due diligence that their role demands.

I thought the EFL came out of it looking useless, Mel Morris came out of it looking shady, and the idea that the game is seen as ripe territory for money laundering should be a source of shame for the people who run our game, but probably won't be.

On the upside, Tracey Crouch will have seen it, and it will hopefully have stiffened her resolve to recommend far reaching change. While simultaneously making it harder for all the vested interests to resist it.
