  1.

He did, but who's :censored:ing idea was it to send a long ball up every frigging time. Jesus Christ.

Kissock and Turner looked alright. Mellor :censored:ing :censored:e, as were the rest of them. Wes battled as much as he could, but was even below par.

Yeah agree, constant aimless lumps up field. Felt sorry for him. And I can only assume that Kissock was blowing cos I thought he was very unlucky to be dragged off.
  2. I don't blame you for not going mate. Was fairly even in the first half and other than for Oxley's :censored:e juggler act we probably deserved (just about) to have been level.

Second half was an absolute shower. No quality, no heart and no clue.

Until tonight I thought we had enough in the locker to stay up, but not any more. We are deep in the :censored:. Saturday is a massive game now.

  3. I was confident until tonight.

Team of :censored:bags with no desire, urgency or will to even go forward in a game, nevermind try and :censored:ing win it.

Absolute :censored:ing disgrace from pretty much everyone on that field tonight.

This. With the exception on Charlie Mc who worked his balls off tonight!

    :censored:ing low-grade bottlers!

  4. so what stop other clubs doing it then! Seen plenty over the years. Even quite a few this season?

I have no idea, you'll need to ask the other clubs.

My point is though that LJ wouldn't be commenting/worrying about the performance of the ballboys if he and his squad were doing their jobs properly.

  5. I have read some :censored: on here over the years but this really does take the biscuit!! The manager is running a club. You look at teams in the top tier there ball boys do help the home team slow down when needed, speed up when losing. Our ball boys have always been too young. We are trying to build a successful club on and off the pitch it's all got to link in. Fair play to LJ if true.

Our ball boys are under strict instruction from the FA that they have to treat both home and away team fairly, or the club risks a fine. Johnson knows this.

As said earlier, LJ needs to stop worrying about ball boys and start getting the shower of :censored: on the pitch performing.

  6. smith will be gone in the summer. He is a top player for this level and everyone getting on the captains back is not needed should be supporting him! he has shown what a player he is and he is extremely talented on the ball and looks a class above nearly all of our players

He's one of a number at the moment who seemingly couldn't find his own arse with both hands, let alone another blue shirt. As skipper he should be leading by example though, and for my money he is falling way short of what he's capable of. He's by no means alone though.

  7. Looks like Johnson is blaming everybody bar himself

If I were LJ, I'd be less worried about the ball boys and more worried about his captain, who continually gave the ball away cheaply, and :censored: out of at least 2 50/50 challenges I can think of yesterday. That and one of his most senior players in Grounds, who managed to let the ball slide straight under his foot for their first goal.

  8. I was not there tonight but sadly this is a new unwanted trend in football heard it on TV seen it happen at England games. Seem there is no patience alot of fans getting fustrated wanting instant success.

But that doesn't really apply to us does it? Unless folk think that watching poor football in a dilapidated stadium in front of fewer and fewer fans for 17 :censored:ty years in the same :censored:ty league, with only the briefest of dalliances with the play offs constitutes wanting 'instant success'?

Well I don't. I'm :censored:ing fed up with it, and if the players and manager don't like the fact that fans are booing or voting with their feet, they better man up, and pretty :censored:ing quickly.

  9. What annoys me about LJ is that he has Rogers as a midfield cover who never gets a game.

When he is injured he brings in a totally inferior Duffer (Dunfield) and plays him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY - if Rogers can't get in the side what has Duffer done to get in.

Have supported LJ upto now but some of his recent decisions are now very questionable to say the least.

Not for the first time recently have we lost through poor team selection and whilst i admire his 3 subs at HT to have a go we should never be in that position in the first place.

Losing tonight makes Tranny even more crucial now.

The other problem with having to make 3 ht subs is that it leaves us screwed if somebody gets injured after say 50 mins.

  10. To be fair, had Dunfield signed sooner, I imagine he'd have started Saturday.

Either way, back to the OP, I hardly call one enforced change and one other change a 'tinker'.

Oh come on, he's done it all frickin season, constantly chopping and changing. How many players have we got through this season, and how many times have the same team started 2 games on the spin. It's no surprise we've only win back to back league games once all season.

  11. Yet again we see the team tampered with, this could be seen as a factor for the inconsistency because players are not settled playing with each other. Tonight we saw the inclusion of Dunfield and Charlie Mac for worrall and Winchester. I believe this was the wrong decision, Worrall had the bet delivery at the club which we was missing today. whilst Winchester was one of the better players from Saturday. I know it wasn't one of the best performances but a wins a win.

if we was going to make a change for Tranmere Danny P is almost certain for the axe. He has been massively out of form for a bit ineffective and is certainly not a winger. We need players playing in the right position and a consistent first 11.

final point our former top scorer has bagged again tonight and is on fire in Scotland

Just posted about his tinkering in another thread. Totally agree though.

  12. I wasn't on about you Lags.

I was making the point that when we lose, there are far more topics and threads than when we win. It pisses me right off if I'm honest.

Course there are more topics when we lose. When we win we could have one topic saying 'great result' and not realistically need any more. Perhaps a couple saluting a particular players performance or such. And, there were at least 2 seperate congratulation threads which were merged after yesterday's win. Besides this people are content to go and have a beer and a laugh with their mater after a win.

When we lose, fans are frustrated, and invariably there's a number of inquests! People come on here to vent their frustration and get it out of their system. It's that or give the cat a kick!

What pisses me off more is the empty heads posting :censored: like "I be you couldn't wait for us to lose" after a defeat. Anybody who actually believes that fans want us to lose so they can moan needs their f*cking bumps felt!
