To be fair this explanation is very plausible. Wouldnt be the first or last time it happens. As of 1st July mcaleny had no obligation to inform the club he was signing elsewhere so it could of been the case of ill let u know Keith and then just went and signed elsewhere

And also if we thought he was looking elsewhere and put a statement out saying as much without him formally rejecting a contract then it would have been seen by him as they dont want me. And vise versa if we thought he was goin to sign without him saying im goin to sign and put a statement out saying that and then he went elsewhere we would have looked even more incompetent. So silence until the facts is best way imo

He will have been told by Salford of the players they were looking to sign. KC will have told him who he hoped to sign and the difference in ambition, plus probable higher wages, would convince anyone as to where their future lay.

You can terminate a loan on football manager but as for the real world I’ve no idea - suppose it would depend on the terms

That game is getting far too complicated. When I first bought it it was simple. Try to buy and sell players on their attributes, pick a team and formation, and play a game.

The guy is technically excellent but has neither the desire or passion to give his all for the team.

He may well have had a bust up but he was on our bench or injured more often than not and the fact that the same thing has happened at Bradford confirms it.

Very good footballer but just can’t be arsed!!

He comes across that way, but I don't think that is the problem. In a 4 2 3 1 he should play in the centre of the 3.

The old boards raised revenue didn't they, so why the need for blinding distracting moving boards with only one sponsor on them?

What next, moving adverts as managers and players are interviewed on Sky and BT Sports?

Our boards move nothing like the ones they have in the PL. I don't know if it's the boards that don't support that kind of movement, or we don't have the IT people to program them.

Stupid I know, but the first time I saw that dog on the boards I thought it was a real dog which had got into the ground.

I pay to watch the match not moving blinding lights.

If I want to see illuminations I'll go to Blackpool.

Btw. Off the top of your head can you list all the advertisers and if you or your business associates have bought anything from them as a result of these boards?

I don't think any of the ads. are paid for at the moment. They seem to be all our sponsors who get the advertising as part of the deal. That's what needs to be fixed, but in the current Covid world, not many businesses will be willing to fork out to advertise at a football club.

The way Kewell was talking about the window before and during it suggested nothing serious was going to be done to try and push us forward.

But that would be more understandable if we made no signings.  The fact that we made 4 but didn't strengthen the areas we obviously needed to makes no sense at all.  Unless its deliberate sabotage or gross incompetence.

Does anything ALMO do make sense?

Just how DID we end up with tickets at that end? Did any scousers end up in the Chaddy? Thankfully, as a gangly 17 year old, I had a pretty good view. Another day I'll never forget as long as I live, and I know we deserved to take them back to Anfield for another crack at it.

No segregation in those days was there?
