Particularly as he live in upstate New York. It's a big ask!
He says he teaches 1st. year students at Manchester Uni. and refers to it as up there. I was thinking he lived in London or somewhere down south. Perhaps he has two homes.

That was a very interesting listen. Brian Cox is so articulate and interesting to listen to. You never get the impression from him that he seems superior, like some people who probably aren't as clever as him.

Rudd their No. 1 is out for a while.
That's why they've signed Iversen then. Thanks. I wonder which one will get the nod. Ripley was the better keeper when he was with us, but seems to have gone downhill a bit since.

Just seen that a Latics ex loan keeper Daniel Iversen has gone on loan to Preston. Another of our ex keepers still there, Connor Ripley. Both good keepers I thought.
Ripley's the No.2. It doesn't look good for him and perhaps they are thinking of offloading him.

I noticed that they are standing in front of a Yelloway coach. There isn't any Go Goodwins ad, boards around the ground, but they are amongst the sponsors on the official web site. Are they still transporting the team, or have they gone bust?

I think there’s definitely an element of that, but even so- he still has to find circa 40 wages of players and club staff every month. Even with EFL help and the bits of cup money we’ve had, he still must be running a massive loss. . and yet we signed another player this week. .
Kieran Maguire I'm sure said on the podcast ,that all L1 and L2 clubs have received payments from the EFL and the PL up front this season because of the financial problems. They have received £350,000 from the EFL and £650,000 from the PL. That should cover most of the clubs wage bills for players. Of course there are are other bills to pay, and wages of staff. The extra £100,000 we have received in prize money and TV money, plus another win n the FA Cup should more or less cover the season Especially if they draw a PL club at home in the 3rd. round, which could well be covered on TV.

I can't understand why Swindon would want him with his recent record.

Richie claiming to Swindon press the club didn’t match his ambition. . . Now where have I heard that before.

He can't make that excuse next time. He's probably right about Swindon and would have wanted them to break the bank to sign Doyle.

Wow that is quite a sad story really on several levels it's sad for the women involved but it's also a sign of the trappings of football. 40% of ex pros go bankrupt
He certainly looks a bit rough in that top picture. He hasn't aged well.

Can see S/T sales being around 750 with all the uncertaintyRead somewhere that Stockport had sold 1,000 a few weeks back
It’ll be interesting to see if DMaarms insider information continues or dries up
Carlisle have sold over 1700.

MarkI would think that Natalie would have the protection of a contract having taken up the position of Managing Director so will be expecting to be paid her contractual notice period
3 days before a season starts is a strange time to make senior board member changes
Was NA the mystery ‘senior club source’ of DMaarms on Twitter maybe
Plot thickens . . .
Dmaarms says the source is still in place and believes less than 600 ST have been sold. An announcement of the opening of the NS is expected in the next few days/next week, and the early bird prices will be extended.. Are they panicking now?

When appointed by Latics last year, it was revealed that Ms Atkinson was to get to work with the off-field team in establishing an efficient structure for the workforce, whilst also working closely with the club’s community trust to deliver the vision and help improve the club’s image in the local area.
I wonder if she has been sacked for failing to improve the club's image. I would say that is an impossible task.

Last season it was £5,000 for a 1st round win. I presume this year will be similar.
No, we get nowt. There's no prize money till the semi-final. TV money's ok though.

They secured a buyer yet?It looks like the trust will end up buying the club. They've raised around £700000 by crowd funding. Players have been sold for quite a bit of money as well.

I thought he lived in the IOM. He must be willing to move over here.

The Lemmy's will be high fiving now. All they have to do now to control 'The Trust' is to get their people elected to the board. The 3% then becomes useless because it will never be used to hold them to account.

IMO he was stitched up by Banide, Dino & whoever is picked the team last season. We signed him on the back of two good seasons alongside a big carthorse at Macclesfield. We either played him out wide, up top on his own or, even worse, with Desire Segbe Azankpo...
That's what happens when the manager doesn't sign the players. They have to try and fit them in the best they can.

If he's still got the legs he would have been a good signing for us.
