Tarkowski was in non league as a youth with North West Counties club Maine Road.

We actually had a bit of difficulty signing him up when we did even though he was 'only' at Maine road.

There were one or two bigger clubs sniffing and his family were trying to get him in at Utd through agents/contacts but after a bit of perseverance we managed to nab him.

I’m sorry but IMO you’re all talking absolute bollocks. The majority of these players cannot pass a football and don’t work hard enough off the ball.
Playing 442 wouldn’t make any difference whatsoever to the end result….we need to bring in better players, I’m sorry but that is the only answer!!

Agree with this. Doesn't matter what the formation is when most of the players can't play a simple pass. So many straight to the opposition.

Half our lot look like they are running through treacle.

    No leadership - completely powderpuff.

Literally the only positive today for me was Abraham but we need another 6 or 7 of similar ilk to stand a chance.

On the face of it, it's a good signing. Player of the Year twice in this division in recent years. Curious as to why Barrow were willing to let him go...

According to Barrow's forum he doesn't fit in with Wilds work ethic! That doesn't fit in with what Unsworth said in his first presser though, he was big on players working hard.

Barrow looking at Jordan Lyden to replace him.

What purse strings? He's obviously not coming in to waste cash so with the protest and boycott reducing ST sales and money in there won't be cash to spend.

Need a big uptake on ST sales Monday and  then maybe there might be some

You don't chuck £12m down the drain and not be able to find a couple of extra quid for a few decent signings, I don't care who you are!

And he knows full well they'll be an uptake in season tickets and match day revenue...

    Super, super Frank

    Super Frankie Rothwell ❤️
