Very dubious account that only has a couple of tweets, but seen as though any form of links to players seem to have gone cold, I'll post it.

Good result = the twitter mob have to find something to moan about.
Tonight it appears to be Willoughby not starting pre season games therefore must be fed up.

Southend have cancelled Saturday's home friendly against Wimbledon in order to get the pitch ready to face Latics.
Without wanting to derail the thread...
I'm not sure how prepared the pitch will be. They are relying on goodwill, the staff haven't been paid for 4 months. Be surprised if they have any petrol for the mowers.

Yes he is a good footballer but he is entirely one paced. He has to move at 100mph, if he just slowed down a little and thought about it a bit more he could be so much better.
He gives the ball away a hell of a lot and it’s usually in the wrong areas.
He’s at the wrong end of his career now and he ain’t going to change.
A decent impact player who when we’re struggling can up the tempo but for me he’s a sub at best!
That was my main gripe with him.
Especially as he used to drop so deep to pick the ball up from the defenders every single time. It got the the point where it felt like we weren't allowed to attack unless he'd touched the ball first.
Wouldn't necessarily be against him as a squad player but he certainly isn't the creative midfielder some seem to think he is.

A bit late, but I'm here.
These are last seasons Central League North results, some decent clubs in the league who managed
to find enough players to take part.
Wouldn't be surprised to see us join something like that in the future because he did genuinely sound like a big fan of the 'B' team to be fair.
The hope has got to be that more scholars will make the grade in the future which will pad out the B team a bit.

Signed Watters from Cardiff as well - wonder if that frees up rumoured target Norwood? (Still don't think another striker is a priority though).
Quick scan of their forum suggests they expect Norwood to be first choice along with Watters.

Another one that was fan only whipped up no doubt.
Doesn't sound like it was ever as close as some were making out, although we did make him "an unbelievable offer".
Hopefully, if we've got the money to chuck an unbelievable offer out to the right player, there still maybe a marquee signing to come!

at least that one's put to bed (although it was earlier by Unsworth on the podcast)

Enjoyed that!
He comes across as a good bloke Unsworth, and I really hope he succeeds.
By his own admission on that pod, he has everything he needs. Good foundations, the best CEO, good facilities, a good budget and good players. He has to have a good season, simple as that.

Bit baffled as to why Gardner gets better treatment than Nuttall?

Yarney signs for Tranmere!
1 year deal after being on trial at a few different clubs.
He'll probably say it's worked out how he wanted it to but I'm not so sure.
Good luck to him either way!

Blue with tangerine stripes?

FFS. It took Wrexham 14 years and a billionaire to get out of this league, Notts County 4 years and a joblot of cash and it's Chesterfields 5th season I think this year who are also splashing the cash.
All this bollocks about we should be getting promoted in style and flexing our muscles is irrelevant!
We just need to win 30 games or so in any way we can and we should go up...end of. Being solid, organised and compact first is the way to go as we have enough up top to score plenty of goals.
I'd take the 1-0 to the Arsenal approach any day of the week if we win 30 games 1-0 and go up.
Pep Guardiola's fault. He might have "changed football" at the highest level, but people (not just our fans) watch his team on sky play all the tippy tappy bollocks and expect lower league plodders to be able to do it.

Mind you, he predicted Dallas signing for Latics on July 2nd.
A personal favourite of mine from that account...

I know his mum, I'll try and find out if there's anything in it.
Wouldn't give me much, other than he wanted to come back near his family (Bolton) and house he bought when he played for City.
He'd been offered around a few clubs and as of this morning, his mum didn't know which he'd chosen to join. (I think she did know just didn't want to tell me)

Puzzling move this one - unless Magnus Norman is being sold, I don't see the point of this - Unsworth also said that he doesn't want loan players hmm
I know his mum, I'll try and find out if there's anything in it.

Dogdale sign 30odd year old local, ex-donny midfielder who've legs have gone.
No, not Dan Gardner, Adam Clayton!
Not a bad signing for them on paper to be fair.
-
Scunthorpe's situation very similar to us under the Lemmies.
They've made a raft of signings that should mean they piss the NLN...
But there's a big argument ongoing with threats of legal action over who owns the ground with new owner locking the old owner out, but old owner claiming it's his and threatening to evict the club...
-
Wouldn't be surprised if it was someone we'd already signed, Raglan possibly?

I quite like it.
Would have preferred the blue collar to continue round the back of the neck but that's just me channeling my inner gok wan.
