  1. It's all messed up and they look silly but the IBF always stick to their rules on this and insist the Champion fights the mandatory otherwise gets stripped....But there are no decent boxing orgs really now and they do what the :censored: they want and have super champs, intercontinental champs, silver champs blah blah

  2. Im home now and im still livid. They've lost 8 games in a row....EIGHT. All we had to do today is have a go early and we'd have rolled them over.

Im sick to death of watching a team with no intent to win a fecking game. Nobody wants the ball, nobody wants to get in good positions. The tactics are abysmal...why are we constantly playing in ways that dont suit the players?! Rasulo looked good and then we chuck him in god knows what position today..not sure even he knew.

Right at this minute if they sacked everyone at the club, top to bottom, the only person i'd be pished off never seeing again would be Liam Kelly.

Edit...dummigan and fulton too but theyre not even ours...

Half season tickets for sale? Dont go and buy one, there will be enough long suffering season ticket holders desperate to get rid of ours.

Let me know how much you want for yours if you're serious about getting rid. Cheers.

  3. I'd give my right arm top be struggling in the league above with a team that consists of Paul Gerrard, Gunnar Halle, Sean McCarthy, Stuart Barlow, Carl Serrant, Chris Makin, Lee Richardson, Nick Henry, Lee Richardson, Bez etc... with average crowds of 7,000. This situation is far worse than it was under Penney/Sharp. After 16 games under Penney we DWLDDLLWWWDDLWL had 20 points and we never dropped into the relegation zone after actually playing a game....

Average crowds of 7k more due to the likes of Wolves, Stoke, WBA, Sunderland etc filling the RRE if I remember rightly.

Said to myself in preseason that I'd start going once the new stand was open...my excuse this last few weeks has been that I'm waiting for the stand to open fully.

Actually might go to the Mansfield game. Bit riding on it.

  4. Being a soppy, nostaligic, stuck-in the 90s lad, I was intrigued by this 'World Cup Cricket' game. Not one I've had the pleasure of. Went on eBay and found this ----> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-1993-WORLD-CUP-CRICKET-GAME-BY-PETER-PAN-PLAYTHINGS-IN-GOOD-CONDITION-/221836852608?hash=item33a681bd80 The game is missing the rules (and the wickets !!) but this helpful ebayer describes the rules to would-be buyers....

This is a good condition vintage World Cup Cricket game from 1993 by Peter Pan Playthings.

The game is missing the instructions, wicket and the scoring sheets but comes with all other parts including THREE balls. You can easily pick up a spare wicket online or make your own from card, a la Blue Peter. The rules should be pretty simple for anyone who knows what cricket is.

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game
Box has some signs of storage wear and is in average condition for its age.
    Happy to answer any questions.

    :censored: me.

  5. Eubank has a lot to learn. Strong, very fit and dangerous looking fighter but needs more than thundering body shots and uppercuts against top quality boxers. Still looked raw tonight and a better fighter than Saunders could have really made him pay for being so wild. Impressed with Saunders. Tidy, fast, good movement and chin....but have a gut feeling that's he's as good as he'll ever be already. Whereas Eubank? Who knows? Get him in with Adam Booth....and :censored: his dad off. Shouldn't have taken that fight tonight really. Not ready.
