I think Kurt is not quite up to NL level and the Scottish Championship is probably more where he is at. Nuttall I still think is a handful and should have done better but for whatever reason he didn’t fire with us, the fact that he’s gone up a level surely reinforces this
He's gone up 2 levels. OK Cheltenham look likely to be relegated as they are 7 points adrift of safety having played a game more / 8 points adrift with a game in hand.

Mixed feelings on Kurt.
He never got a run, but didn’t really impress in the minutes he got.
Be good for him to have a fresh start, you don’t score 20 goals in a season without having something about you.
Depends on the level. While scoring 20 in a season at any level is not to be sniffed at, it doesn't mean you'll score half or even a quarter of that at the level above.
I can cite loads of our former players where the form at the level below didn't transfer to the level above and that was going from fully professional to fully professional. Not mostly semi-pro to mostly professional.

It came out of his own mouth, live on video.
It was more a self depreciating comment at getting it wrong. Probably should have added a wink emoji

They don’t. He answered this in one of his live chat things. They used to, but they live in separate apartment blocks in Manchester City Centre these days.
Never believe the obvious things on social media without doing your own research.

Are they a couple or co-habiting, if not I don't see the connection.
Co-habiting, I'm not sure if one is the other's landlord or what but they live in the same flat.

Must be over 1000? Like you say North Stand behind the goal is sold out now.
Fairly confident that end hold 900+ so I'd expect it to be over 1000.

You say that but as things stand we would have to win at Solihull and then Barnet for a place at Wembley, we'd be favourites for both games in my opinion.
Well we have done that double already this season.

Cheers everyone....Maybe he'll still be there recovering.
I would think he probably will be. The list of better places than Antigua to recover at this time of year is a very short list.

19 in 104 before he joined us, less than 1 in 5. That record alone wouldn’t warrant paying £100k and £3.5k a week unless he was pretty outstanding…..which he is not!
Off the top of my head £ for £ I can’t think of a worse signing and I include David Currie & record signing Ian Olney too!
I'm quietly confident that Ian Olney is our record Premier League scorer.
He wasn't a bad signing but when your record transfer fee doesn't play 2 seasons due to a career ending injury he gets stick.
Think I heard a story about David Currie and his eventual transfer to us on the Under the cosh podcast. Fell out big time with Brian Clough.

If only the game was on Friday (actual groundhog Day).
I suppose we could have good groundhog Day on Saturday.

Quite a few wingers have done that tbh. That’s why he’s not a LB and should only be played LWB. He’s very good going forward but very average at the back.
49 minutes ago, simplythemostimportantkick said:Disagree strongly. He’s a very good defender imo and I’ve not seen better in this league going forward.
I think that as Kitching usually doesn't have anyone playing ahead of him who actually helps him defensively it's difficult to judge how good of a defensive player he is.

1-0 defeat and some hystetical douche coming on here saying they hope they never see any of the current squad play for us ever again
Or that the season is over. Despite us still being in the playoffs

I just meant numbers.
York and Halifax are night games, and I expect 1200/1500
Alty is a Saturday and one of the last few games of the season- I think there could 2.5/3k in there. (Scattered around the ground)
I can guarantee that if you go to Alty expecting to see them play Oldham on a Saturday you'll be disappointed. We play Alty Easter Monday

And that's before we even begin to think about his disastrous first three months at the club...
Didn't he spend almost all that time playing CB or RB?

I can see Fondop becoming a bit of a cult hero for this club, he has passion, is unorthodox and scores vital goals, seems a genuinely nice bloke in his interviews , as much as he divides opinion he can be the missing piece of the jigsaw in some games and you can tell he loves the club.
Just imagine the celebration if he comes of the bench and scores the winner at Wembley in the play off final.
20000 fans all doing the Fondop fist pump on the pitch?

Would he settle in the N.West?? I always prefer someone who is a bit local.Otherwise risky I.M.O.
Signing players who are "local" was part of the reason why Shez's squad struggled.

*IF* (and it's a big *IF*) we got to Wembley, how many do you think we would take? 20k?
Think it would be about that. Similar numbers to what Tranmere took when they were in the NL playoffs and what Stockport / Carlisle took last season.
Won't be the 35k+ "last one out of town turn the lights off" style that we had in 90.

New ground for fans, and doing well in the league. I’d be disappointed if there is less than 300 still.
Some of us don't appear to be affected for the strikes too. *Touches Wood*

Strikes on the day of the Ebbsfleet game though - buyer beware!
Think they are train company dependent. So while you may not be able to get to London from Manchester you may be OK from Leeds / Sheffield.

Bit weird that a pub called The Maltings specialises in cider
Does Real Ale too Dave, but like most Real Ale pubs also has a nice line ciders.
Think Maltings may refer to the location too.
