Just for a bit of 'fun' have a look at the following website and customise the league table with the dates 20.02.24 to 20.04.24. This will give you an idea of our form guide over the last 10 games.

1 win in the last 10 games is relegation form not a play-off push!

There's not one single player in this squad that I'd be upset to lose in the summer.
Apart from, apart from . . .
Can I get back to you!

Absolute shocking decision. Even worse on the slow mo replay
They've shown the Fondop red card several times on TNT, including slow motion, describing it as an 'absoluteley disgraceful' decision. Fondop can be seen flicking the ball away with his left foot and then he gets kicked!!
It's not even a foul, let alone a yellow or red card.

Today's Fylde v Gateshead match has also been postponed.

FFS! I have TNT as part of my BT package.
Does this mean I have to watch it?I've just cancelled my TNT subscription, but they might not be able to disconnect me in time!

I did say fondop was due a red card the other week. For what it's worth I don't think it was one.

I‘m sorry this ref. How he has not given handball there. Surely when it is so obvious you‘ve got to question the integrity of him as a professional.

Another comment from Brabin saying we were near the bottom when they come in. We were 13th 3 points from the play offs
On the website Brabin is quoted as saying: "When we came in we had a squad which on paper should be competing, but wasn’t, it was struggling near the bottom."
When Unsworth was sacked we were 23rd, but when MM was appointed we were up to 13th on 19 points, 5 pts off the play-offs and 6 pts off the relegation places.
If you wanted to be pedantic you could argue that were were in the bottom half of the table. However, as far as points were concerned we were closer to the play-offs (just).

There is no simple fix. No magic bullet. For whatever reason this squad of players are not able as a collective to perform well enough, regularly enough, to mount a serious challenge.
Mellon found a way of picking up points regularly to take us into the play offs but now we can’t seem to work out how to win games any more.
Even with all that, we are still in with a shot of getting into the play offs and may even still win them. The league is just that shit.

Sounds like just one half of the commentary!

1973/74 Title-Winning Reunion - 50th anniversary
Players from Latics' 1973/74 Third Division championship win will return to Boundary Park on the evening of Friday 19 April.
The reunion takes place the day before the league fixture against Wealdstone, which marks exactly half a century since Jimmy Frizzell’s side secured promotion with a 6-0 victory over Huddersfield.
Latics went on to secure the Third Division title on the final day of the regular season at Plymouth.
Of the 19 who played during that season, there are 14 surviving members, with all but two due to be in attendance.
Attending will be Ian Wood, Ronnie Blair, Alan McNeill, Ian Robins, Tony Bailey, George McVitie, Paul Edwards, Keith Hicks, Mike Lester, George Jones, Chris Ogden, and Colin Garwood.

Fit enough for the rugby to churn it up though . . .
. . . with a game on the Sunday, where FC Halifax also had a home game the day before.
Don't forget, we also need a good surface for our free-flowing pass along the ground style of football!

If we don't make the play offs he should be dismissed as soon as the final whistle blows after the Wealdstone match.

Anyone know what formation we're now playing, with 3 'strikers' on the pitch?

Norwood and Fondop coming on.

Lots of good play from both teams according to the BBC Radio Surrey.
However, according to someone on Twitter 'absolutely shocking this.'
