I saw someone had written to Angela Rayner about it and got a nice email back from her Comms lady who is known to most Oldham fans on Twitter / X. Unfortunately parliamentary tradition states that the nominee's MP needs to lead the campaign. That is apparently Jim McMahon who was at the game on Saturday.
I would think there will be some people on here who might have some familiarity with the process so would happily lend a hand crafting any letter. I know I would.
As Frank lives in Saddleworth his MP is Debbie Abrahams.

. . . and there's more:

Home form - Latics are 15th
Away form - Latics are 4th
Overall - Latics are 7th
Just a 'slight' improvement in our home form and a play-off place is in our grasp. In any case, as our away form is better than our home form, then finishing 6th or 7th could be just fine.
Typical of the perennial pessimistic @GKing521 to come up with the most asinine thread title I've seen for a very long time.
Mellon in.

Celebration Sunday v Grimsby?
I don't want to be greedy and expect another 6 nil win, so I'll settle for a 3 nil win!

On a lighter note, we're almost certainly not going to go down...
With 53 points already, we're definitely not going down!

On a positive note, as our away from is better than our home form, finishing 6th or 7th could be ok!

A few weeks ago we had 7 strikers on the books, now we don't even have 1 on the bench!
Where are Dallas, Hope and Reid?

1 point gained or 2 dropped?

Apparently Kidderminster have been given some seats in the chaddy, assuming that's the bottom right block closest to the new away end (Lower1), that means the next block in, and the block behind it can't be used for Latics fans, so that's a large chunk of the unused capacity straight away
Remember the chaddy wasn't designed or built to be a split stand, so might need to block off more of it to satisfy police/safety requirements
Home supporters can buy tickets for the block (Lower 2) next to the Kidderminster supporters (Lower 1), but not the block behind them (Upper1)!

3000 now sold. How many season ticket holders do we have 5000?
Latics sold 3642 season tickets by the end of the early bird offer.

I wanted to buy in the Chaddy yesterday but only 2 sections of it were available to home fans at that time (the rest were greyed out), right over near the Joe Royle Stand, so I opted for the Main Stand. It now looks like both home and away supporters will be housed in the Chaddy. That I do find odd.
Kidderminster sold there initial allocation of just under 400 tickets in 24 hours. They've now been given 300 tickets in the Chaddy End - I presume that's in just one section.
They probably didn't expect to sell as many away tickets. For example Kidderminster only took 183 supporters to Rochdale last month, and 181 supporters to York in August. It might only be £1 a ticket, but it'll cost them another £30 if they get here on the official coaches.

"After 63 days and countless challenges, chairman Frank Rothwell is just over 300 nautical miles from finishing his row across the Atlantic Ocean."
His expected finish date is now Valentine's Day.
