  1. Plastic bottles are allowed in and obviously bp is now all none smoking (apart from the odd sneaky sneaky in the bogs)... we iv never had a problem with it. I usually live in the lower lookers but the last few games iv been to iv sat in the main stand paddock due to bein on my tod... if i ever sit in the main stand its gotta be the paddock weather permitting more or less all seats are available as most st holders sit in the upper.. good atmosphere their too! There aint any singing but when i go there is usally a bit of fun banter which always has me in stitches and you also get a verbal commentry from shez and tommy which can be quite amusing.... As for saurday im sitting in the lower lookers seeing as though we are playing our friendly near neighbours (should have the best atmosphere)... Hope you enjoy!

    P.s love the enthusiasm

  2. Very sad to see the big man cut short by injury, been a fantastic servant to the club......

On a side note from poggers leaving, which really frustrates me is that poggs now due to injury has probably had a ickle pay out and a thank you and goodnight from the club... I know were not a charity but we should really do something for pogs i.e. a testimonial to give him a little more cash to help him on his way, we all slate players for buggering off "for more money" "greedy" etc etc but this just brings to light you have to get as much as possible out of the game whilst still able to - after all clubs dont give two monkeys what happens to them when theyre past it or injured!!

GOOD LUCK POGGS, TRUE GENT AND AT TIME A QUALITY KEEPER.

One more time.... Weve got an aussie..... etc etc. WOAHHH POGLIACOMI.... (anyone fancy belting this one out tonight??

  3. Stapleton is definately a Citeh fan, at least he is these days as he seems to mention it nearly every morning on GMTV the tosser.

 Was just about to say that myself....

Him of Emmerdale who was also on Hollyoaks is a regular along with Corries Martin Platt & Kevin (Ex Tash) Webster, they used to go a majority of time in chaddy end but cant say iv seen them in recent years.

The entire population of egg chasers are tics fans as the majority are from oldham... Sculthorpe (brothers), Kevin Sinfield, Paul Deacon i have seen at games to name but a few......

Cannon & Ball are alledged tics cant say iv ever seen them at a game....

And everyone has forgot our most famous supporter who turns up week in week out Chrissy Taylor  or is that Infamous!

  4. shafted by the club in what way???

He lives on the racecourse estate in sale - rough as it is.... the barbers i go in sale tells all his whereabouts because i once walked in with a latics top on thats it, all i get is what rodger is upto these days... Says he lives on the racecourse and is well known as a bit of a weirdo never speaks and spends many a day pacing up and down his garden, apparently has problems with alcohol and gambling has very little money and keeps himself to himself....

Bear in mind this is all alledgedly and is second hand info from not the most reliable of sources my barber.... whatever he is upto these days he is the sole reason im a tic fan and look back on his playing days with very fond memories..... my mother always reminds of when i was 4 sat in mcdonalds in town signing oooh rodger palmer at the top of my voice followed by the referrees a :censored: (obviously didnt know that was offensive) a sharp clip of the ear soon came about...... geez they were the days. :D

  6. The manager explained: “Craig has done well. His strike rate is good and he could easily have scored 18 or 19 goals already this season.

“Having said that, he needs to do better because, not being awful, sometimes I get the impression he thinks he is better than he is.

“He has lots and lots to learn, so he needs to want it more and listen more if he is going to improve as a player.

“I don’t think he played particularly well on Saturday (against Gillingham) and in the first half he frustrated me, which he has done for long periods of the season.

“He drives me mad, but he can do it if he wants it. All players are different – and Craig is definitely different from the rest!”

Just watched the interview now... :laught16: You can tell how much Davies pishes him off... I think he is 100% right in what he's said, Davies has the potential to play in a lot bigger games than what he is but the kid just dont listen. Many times iv seen shez balling at him from the touchline just for Davies to turn round and tell him to :censored: off. Problem is with Davies as shez so rightly put he thinks he is better than what he is, he automatically thinks it will come to him without any effort. For Davies to get any better he needs to keep shut get his head down graft and learn... and he will be banging even more in.

  7. You was sat in the wrong ground then mate....Gary Mac all the way.

Latics were nothing short of dreadful for the first 40 mins. Without doubt the worst 40 mins at BP this season. Although maybe we ought to give Gillingham some credit, they were up for it first half and were 2 yards faster and hungrier than Latics. The short bald headed fella (32 was it?) ran the show in the middle of the park for them, however maybe they raced outta the traps and tired.

Second half saw Latics take control by the 15 minute mark and for me the result was never in doubt from there on in. We could have scored 5 easilly on another day. I tell ya what Taylor saved the boo boys roth at the half time whistle with his timely goal, we certainly had gotten outta jail at that point.

Didnt go today but on LW the commentator also said it was Gary Mac

  8. Moore is minted again after getting another NHS monopoly supply contract and floating a large share of his business. Although we can hope that the investigation into his affairs changes all that for him.

Never forget his wise words before the QPR match outside the pub in reply to a latics fans question of will you be here next season if we lose - "Of Course"..... MUPPET!!!

Although he nearly killed the club, he did provide us with cracking season.... if only he'd of kept with us an ploughed in a little more pennies where would we be now????? :mmm:

P.s Shameless plug look in the swap & trade board got a match worn shirt i wanna sell... take a look!!

  9. says on official site that greegan did some light running on friday and will hopefully get the all clear to start training on thursday.

seems to put paid to some rumours that he is to be paid off and leave.

however if all goes well and he is able to play again soon, would you put him back into the back four.....or try him in midfield...

For me would go straight back in at Centre back.... all this cack about paying him off, people are starting to forget about what this man can do! How fickle some fans can be.... You can hardly blame him to the start of the season we had! The squad is missing big influential players... we need him back!!
