  1. Had my cruciate done after snapping it a few years ago.....made a right crack just turning with nobody anywhere near me

recovery is a long, slow and painful process of around 9-12 months.....and it was another 6 months before me before i was confident enough to actually do everything on a football field. If i snapped it again (or the other), i'd never play football again. Just not got the stomach to risk having to go through it 3 times!!!!

If he's a strong character and gets a good solid rebuild, then i seeno reason why he can't kickstart his career. Have to say with my experiance, anything other than a strong character and it's over for him i'm afraid

  2. In certain games last season - you only have to look at the management team.....time and time again we threw a defender up top when we had strikers on the benchl. I can understand it with 2-3 mins to go but there were games when Mvoto was playing up front with nearly 15 minutes left...

When you do that - you increase temptaion to launch it forward instead of playing football

    arber

    branston

    forbes

    jarret

    swailes?

    thompson

    todd

    trotman (second time)

All defenders who have been around at similar times hazell has been at the club - pretty sure i'd prefer Rubes in my side over every one of those. Yes i'm fully aware of the mistakes he made - but i would have happily had him round the club next year.

Has it made us weaker? At the moment.....yes but that could change depending on who comes in, but in our league, with our budget - i'd be suprised if it was somebody better.

  4. One major issue i see is our complete lack of any pace throughout the side....We lack any creativity an its often unfair to criticise the strike force when quite simply, they get little or no service at all.

We're in desperate need of an influential player in the middle of the park or someone who can play off the strikers and hold up the ball because we're pretty much too slow to attack. That's why I'd defiantly keep Allesandra.....Morais is the only player we're likely to still have who can create something for us next year - taylor has too many days where if the team doesn't perform - he doesn't perform just like yesterday.

I think anyone who turned up to that garbage yesterday can see clearly that next season will be a tough one for us.

  5. I won't make a bold statement as I didn't go either thanks to work, but it would appear from the messages I got from friends who went is that we were nowhere up for it like Rochdale were.

The bold statement I will make is that another ex-striker has returned to haunt us. Typical.

O'Gradey was gifted one and slightly fortunate with the other....have to say he did sod all else all game. Hazell, Mvoto and Trotters had him in their pockets and he didn't do a great deal against smaller full backs

  6. I have a season ticket but I still have to queue to get in - we're definitely good at it in this country - shame it's not an Olympic sport...

have they given seat numbers out on the tickets or is it sit where you want for the ticket buyers? i hate nothing more than getting to my season ticket seat to find some moron has decided he can sit wherever he wants!

  7. Heard he got into a spot of nightclub trouble ?

don't know much about it though.

Certainly offered something different today and no surprise he went off as he hasn't played 90 mins for about 6 months.

Pity he got sent off in the reserves but i suspect that maybe part of the baggage that comes with him.

Having seen his first performance against Plymouth...i'd hazard a guess that he was perhaps trying to hard to impress and managed to get himself sent off. Against Plymouth he was overly keen and overcomplicated things whereas today he was calm and assured - got the balance spot on.

Just the fact that he's had so many clubs, i worry that he's one of those who impresses untill he lands a contract and then slopes into the background. Hope not, was awesome first half today!!

  8. Great movement off the ball didnt misplace a pass first half. Great touch and some genuine skill on the ball and the ability to run at people and then pick out a superb through ball to tonk, defo injured or just not match fit in the 2nd half he signaled at the bench something was wrong and then he was clearing looking over at the becnh for a long while before he came off

Think he had cramp in his calf or something - they tried to fill him with fluid at one point but he looked shattered. Right decision to bring him off, possibly a little later than it needed to be. Think it will give jones a kick up the backside as well having him here.

Looks a quality player - some fantastic touches, turns and little passes

  9. Royle Army ia the new webmaster

i dont want to come across as miserable or nit picky - but isn't the website a stream of revenue? As a former web developer, i'd have been shot for putting anything online that hadn't been checked properly. I mean it wouldn't take much to have a read through would it. It just doesn't look good does it

Edit - It's now been changed and doesn't read all that bad now

  10. 3-2 with 15 minutes to go game on!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like we were a tad unlucky in the end....got to raise questions about the team selection today - yes, we will definatly have lee and furman next week but the FA cup is our last chance to raise any pennies and thats gone now, I'd rather have been through and play with a different full back/midfielder next week

  11. Brill

    Lee Hazell Mvoto Jacobson

    Jones Furman Stephans Evina

    Taylor

    Tounkare

Only thing i might consider changing there would be Taylor for Jones and Kelly in up top with Tonk.....I do think Jones' work rate could come in useful but he causes us to play narrow sometimes by drifting inside to his natural position....
