  1. It was a disappointing effort all round really. The hangover at 930pm was a real kick in the teeth. I think I'll skip lees's juice next time. I blame that ;)
  2. They were that big and tough with it that when we tapped one of them on the shoulder they very quickly stopped. Another good chant was 'du du du any Oldham player' ...
  3. To be fair. It was written on here a few weeks back. We just had the confidence (alcohol) to bring it out
  4. 2 home league games coming up now against sides who are expected to finish at best mid table. Good sides consistently beat those who are expected to finish low down in the division.
  5. Whilst I'm not saying it was necessarily the right decision I dont think looking at this foul in isolation is fair to the ref. It was a fairly niggly game made worse by the ref himself being over officious. We got in their faces. I would have thought Jarrett's booking was for an accumulation of fouls rather than an isolated incident. Whilst not fair to JJ, the ref is well within his rights to book an Oldham player for accumulation of fouls from the team not just an individual player. I still think it was a poor decision having seen it again though. Not because a yellow card wasn't coming more because it wasn't a foul...
  6. If he drinks a bottle of piri piri on the nightbus he'll be home and dry ;)
  7. I think that would be perfectly fair given some of his post match pre roxy antics of last season.... I just think he wants us to beg
  8. In fairness mate, you only look 12 even when you've not had a shave ;-) You don't even need to do that. Providing it's windy you'll get away with it. I think I'll take my chances and pay for a full adult ticket. I'm kinda resigned to growing up now!!!
  9. Really? I always thought the Hungerford was the footbridge that goes straight into Charing Cross. Looks as though I was wrong. Walking on train tracks is dangerous http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungerford_Br...Jubilee_Bridges
  10. No kick off was more exciting than the one in Peterborough in December 2008. Arriving at the station at 2.50 to make kick off was awesome. I'm VERY excited. I can't wait. Unfortunately I'll be at the Chandos for 1245 not 12. I'll have a beer en route to catch up and bring something for the train... Last year we watched 55-60 mins at Charlton, let's aim to see a little more. I reckon Zorro will be there. Not quite sure why, I just do...
  11. Overland does the trick into charing cross as well. Personally think it's easier to walk over hungerford bridge into charing cross and then over the strand. 15 mins max. If were talking for after the game, Charlton train leaves from Charing Cross so I assume it returns there ;)
  12. The clues in the name. You'll have approx 20 mins to spare. Rather than cocking about at The George. Come an join the cool kids at The Chandos at the sde of Trafalgar Square
  13. It's one train from Charing Cross - takes 20-25 mins....
  14. All depends on my dirty Yorkshire housemates whereabouts. Someone needs to be in the flat at 12. I'm hoping he's around then I'll be with you at 12. Can't wait. This is going to be fun
  15. Aye Chandos it is. Hoping to get there at midday but will possibly be a little later but not as late as Mark. Will definitely be there by 1.
  16. oooo eh whats all this about then? This must be the reason I seem to spend at an accelerated rate after I'm drunk.... Of course I will contribute to the Lovers Reunited fund. How much is a match ticket this weekend by the way?
  17. Are you subtly trying to tell us something about your Summer of therapy?
  18. Is this why you've upgraded to a suite at the InterContinental?
  19. Clearly not as funny as when he spilt a pint and a pie at half time at Norwich ;) Of course you can Josh. You'll win £2. I'd pay that for the entertainment.
  20. We're not supposed to talk about that on a public forum...
