  1. Went to all the normal thingy in my jigs, Empire State is well worth doing for the view but it dunt half get crowded, there's a viewing observation on the 102nd floor????? but apparently you can go even further up another 4 floors or something which I wish i'd have done. There's also an observation deck at the Rockafeller (Top of the Rock) that may be worth doing. That is where the ice rink is thats on all the movies, and the xmas tree and that, went in summer so they get rid of the rink then for obvious reasons, Central Park was class for chilling out if you get a nice day. Went to the World Trade Centre site and there's a small church in front of it, its got the gear that was recovered from the rubble, fire outfits equipment etc, very sombre but worth going to see. If you just wanna see the Statue if Liberty rather than go to Liberty Island and get off then you get The Staten Island Ferry which is free and goes within a few hundred yards of the statue, did that coz couldn't be bothered queueing.

Somebody in Planet Hollywood recommended Coney Island, apparently there's loads going on there but again couldnt be bothered travelling there or finding out what it was all about. If you fancy being brave, take a trip up to the Bronx, there's a Zoo there and it's also where New York Yankees play IIRC.

Times Square is really good, bit of Rubber necking time there and you can also get the hop on- hop off tour buses which take you all around Manhatten.

Madison Square Gardens if there's a concert on or basketball game or something (do they play there??)..think they do but not sure.

Mary Poppins on Broadway as well...class ;-)

    enjoy chief.

  2. Yeah, I thought he was okay but it would be harsh to judge him more severely on his first appearance. One good shot, one not so good shot (but to be fair it wasn't the easiest ball from Taylor) and he seemed to lose a bit of confidence after that - passed rather than shot when he next had a chance. I thought perhaps he was played a bit too far back.

Think he lost his confidence when the George Hill brigade got on his back because he chose to pass backwards rather than chip it up do three over head kicks then power it in off the underside of the bar using his chest

  3. Just been given a file to do a cost plan for a new stadium for Bristol Rovers.....minimum 20,0000 seater.

That's twice the size of the Camp Nou, no wonder they sacked Dave, with ambitions like that

Agree Mike, getting tedious everyone else planning for a successful future and we're stuck facing oblivion for the second time in what 8/9 years. :ranting:

  4. 1) i would have 120 mil

    2) i love the club

    3) i even cheat on football manager 2011 so we have lots of cash and can buy decent players in our league etc to win promotion

    4) im sure oldham wouldnt cost me 120 mil

Interesting..how do you cheat so you have loads of cash??? i'm fed up of finsihing 13th

  5. I'm really disappointed with Feeney, i'm not ashamed (well, yeah I am) to admit it that when we signed him, I was buzzing, I thought "what a signing", being a typical optimist, I ignored his cr@p record and thought he'll turn it around here,...yeah good one, either give him a chance and play a number of games and see if he can find his shooting boots or just bin him off would be my opinion. Same with Reid. Some one ementioned on another thread to bin the loans guys off, i'm kind of in agreement because they all seemed happy as punch when things were going well, now they don't wann know, ala White. Give some of our lads a chance to prove a point, and maybe go back to playing the same team that worked so well together at the start of the season, Jones on the Right, Alice on the left etc etc.

There's plenty of us on here doing fine thanks, though I think you'll find the common denominator is that we all had the sense to get the of Oldham at the earliest opportunity.

i live in sadd, and im skint lol

  7. Pushing/ Shoving/ Slapping/ Shirt Pulling/ Handbags can all be sorted by the ref and his merry assistants, but when someone who shouldn't be on the pitch in the first place exacts his own justice then the problems start. I'll bet the cameras picked that scuffle up, wot more evidence is required?

I don't want anything to come of this but wud be very suprised if no action is taken.

it was great to see taggs defend our young team BUT you can't go round fighting on the pitch, if you wanna do that..take up boxing!!

  8. Exeter last season was £2 and we won, the £2 games against Brighton and Northampton, drew and won, Grimsby won 6-0, so we haven't lost on one of these offer games yet have we???? (i may have missed some?) i can see a win, got a pretty decent record against them recently, either 1-0 or 2-0 tonight, as someone mentioned earlier, we gotta be looking at 6 points.
