ETA has changed Lags due to headwinds. His arrival is now estimated to be 10th Feb around 5.00pm!
Check you out talking to Lags.

I’m hoping Willoughby shines in Scotland and comes back and fights for a spot. He’s been absolutely ruined by Unsworth and was devoid of confidence by the time Mellon arrived. A daft turn of events after signing him. He’s never slagged us off either. Lesser players have.
Surprised he turned down a permanent move to Macclesfield on a higher salary than he’s on now. He clearly backs himself and good luck to him.
-
Does Micky stick with 352 or is this now the time to change it up? With Hogan suspended again, McGahey being shite, and with the players we’ve brought in, I feel now is the perfect time to switch to a back 4.
Id go…
Hudson
Sachdev - Hobson - Raglan - Kitching
Lundstram - Conlon - Sheron
Walker - Norwood - Dallas
SubsNorman
Sutton
Hammond
Fondop
Garner
If we can bring in someone like Cian Hayes or a ball playing, tough tackling midfielder to replace Sheron, I think it would transform us.
None the less, I fancy the good away form to continue here.
1-3 (Norwood, Dallas, Sheron)

Conlon did a fair bit against Barnet too.
Yeah good point. Hogan is also capable of it come to think of it.
-
How many tickets have we sold then given we’ve sold an end out?
This one has real potential.
I assume quite a few will stay overnight like us too.

Tidy little ground but too far out of the city!
It could be 20 miles out of the city. If the playoffs depend on it, nothing is too far out.

He'll do
We’re short on shithousery and have been devoid of it for years.
Norwood is good at it, add Garner to the mix and it looks much better.
Its an underrated trait.

You mention 4-3-3 a lot, but hasn't Mellon mentioned he thinks we are more suited to 3-5-2...?
Yeah but maybe that’s why he’s signing the players he is to move away from 352.
If we could bring in a #10 and relegate Sheron to the bench, get Conlon match fit, then a 433/4231 would suit us nicely, although I do have reservations about Kitching as an out and out FB because I think he’s quite poor defensively.
-
I also thought Hammond looked a little out of his depth today.
Sheron needs replacing. Hard work and endless running without and positional sense and becoming completely devoid of any creativity isn’t enough for a side gunning for promotion.
Fondop back to his 5/10 days.
Kitching was atrocious.
Just a bad day, but not at all surprising.

One more thing…
Its a cracking opportunity for us tomorrow to really cement our position in the playoffs.
Aldershot (9th) vs Rochdale (7th)
Altrincham (6th) vs Eastleigh (11th)
Gateshead (10th) vs Barney (3rd)
Southend who are certainly dark horses for me also travel to Chesterfield. Bromley travel to Fylde and I fancy Fylde to get something there. -

Tore Kitching apart in the derby. Would be a good signing that
Quite a few wingers have done that tbh. That’s why he’s not a LB and should only be played LWB. He’s very good going forward but very average at the back.

I'd still be happy if he never kicked a ball for us...
I’ve said similar all season, but he’s starting to win me round.
Dont get me wrong, Dallas walks straight into the side for me, but if he’s happy to play the impact role going forward - and I think he would he - he’s definitely worth keeping around. He’s a character, and all good teams have those in the dressing room.

Nothing can stop the 5PM train, the only question is whether or not the title can still be won.
I’ve never known you to be so positive Leesy. Rather refreshing.
(There’s more chance of us going down than winning the league though. They’re probs gonna get 110 points!)

He's a right winger, with Walker on the left it could be exciting to see an attacking 442.
Can he not play as a #10?

Played at Spotland for Dale when we beat them 4-3. Whilst he was on loan there they had quite a decent run.
Yeah he looks a good player. Quite creative. I know Dale were gutted when he was recalled.

I think both Sadchev and Conlon will start and get around an hour.
Id have Sutton in for the suspended Hogan - I don’t want McGahey anywhere near the starting XI.
Id also play Dallas over Fondop - not because I’ve not been impressed with Fondop lately, but he’s better with the ball and Woking will likely sit back.
I think we have much more about us after bringing the latest additions in, Lundstram looked a different player on Tuesday, and I think with the likes of Sadchev, Kitching, Conlon, Lundstram, Norwood & Dallas on the pitch, we should be better equipped to deal with these low blocks that have been our Achilles heel ever since we’ve been down here.

I’d be surprised if we don’t take 1500 tbh
-
Cian Hayes is supposedly the next one through the door once we’ve shipped a couple out next week….
-
Lundstram already looks a different player now he’s got a footballer behind him, instead of darting around doing 40yd runs because his previous partner hoofs it all the time.

Hudson
Hobson
Raglan
Hogan
Sadchev
Lundstram
Sheron
Conlon
Kitching
Norwood
Walker
That's what I’m expecting tonight. Maybe Fondop for Walker.
-
Just glad Norwood is fit.

Imagine if we signed Kanu and Dallas

They did put shuttle buses on last time, I've now booked hotel as well for the Tuesday night
Another 4 of us have too!
We need to find a pub back in the centre to collectively celebrate our 9th away win on the bounce.

Very disappointed with the lack of proper ITK stuff of late.
Needs drastic improvement.

Probably slap Ebbsfleet and then lose 1-2 to Boreham Wood with Tshimanga bagging a brace.
Frank rows boats. Latics lose at home. That’s just how it is.
