  1. What happened to the person who was down outside the toilets around half time?
  2. You thought Sheron was MOTM on Saturday which IMO is just as nonsensical. Opinions though.
  3. Or people just have different opinions? You of all people should know that!
  4. It’s clear they’ve been relieved of their duties as any new man will want to bring their own staff in. My worry, despite wanting a new manager in who’s been there and done it is this will be expensive. Is there any budget left to bring in the 3/4 players (starters) we need?
  5. The sooner people stop thinking the likes of Sheron, Sutton (at RB) and Green can contribute to a promotion chasing side the better. i just hope Thompson feel the same.
  6. I’d rather go for a manager who’s been there and done it, but if keeping Tommo in charge on presumably a lesser wage, and it means we have more money available to bring in the 4 players we need, I can get on board with it. Either way, the football needs to improve rapidly.
  7. GK: whilst neither are particularly great, they’re good enough for this level and not worth spending any of the budget here. 3-5-2 for me every day of the week. Hobson, Hogan & Raglan as CB Sutton & Sheron can fill in when one or two out out. Is Freeman alive? If so, him at RWB but I don’t think he’s a long term option and I’ve seen dozens of decent forward thinking right backs in this league in the last 18 months that this shouldn’t be difficult to rectify. Kitching is better as a LWB than a LB. Dickenson at a push as cover. Midfield - out obvious issue. Gardner is decent but made of biscuits, Lundstram clearly has ability but I feel is still bedding in. I don’t care that Sheron won players player last year, if we have promotion ambitions, we need an upgrade. Most teams I’ve seen in this league, even the tinpot ones, have someone in midfield who can dictate the game. We don’t have that and we badly need it. Dickenson needs to shift a few lbs but clearly has ability. He could easily play as a #10 but still think we could do with a proper one. Wingers: Green is an impact player at best - come at me. We need a proper RW. No issues up front. So in short, we need a manager, a RWB, CM, #10, RW.
  8. Yes. Can’t say anything bad about him on here though. If you want promotion, Green, Sheron and and Sutton should be anywhere near statrting.
  9. Looking forward to seeing Gardner and Lundstram in CM that’s for sure.
  10. If you are referring to Shelton, he’s worse. So I refer you back to my original point.
  11. I maintain 352 is better for us but we need a proper RWB unless Freeman can get fully up to speed quickly.
  12. He also had issues with what Unsy was asking for….
  13. More proof that we need a proper manager who’s been there and done it. And a couple more players too.
  14. Hudson Sutton Hobson Hogan Kitching Green Sheron Lundstram Dickenson Norwood Willoughby
  15. Personally, id still go for a seasoned man. And that would be Mellon (now Clarke has gone to Cheltenham). Its no slight on Thompson, I just want experience both in this league and getting promotion. I also think Reid and Kurt won’t ever work as a starting frontline, but it does make a difference when they both come on against tiring defences as there’s some unfit fodder of defences in this league. Preference would be Norwood and one of them, probably Kurt as Reid has proven to be effective off the bench. I agree with @yarddog73 in that we’re still light. I think we need another CM so we’re not fucked when Gardner and Lundstram are out, and another winger because we’re playing Green into the ground.
  16. How did Lundstram look? I’ve been out so didn’t get to watch it but I know Shelton needs putting out to pasture.
