Lino Goncalves arrives on trial.. Lino Goncalves (born Nov. 21, 1988 in Madeira Funchal) is a midfielder for Fulham fc. He has also represented Portugal at u17, u18, and u19. He grew up in Victoria-Pimlico on South West London's Churchill Gardens Estate. From a young age you could see Lino's talent, he first started playing football for the local youth club St Andrews FC based in Victoria but was quickly spotted by Fulham FC and went on to join the academy ranks at the Premiership club. Having been born only 5 miles away from where fellow countryman Christiano Ronaldo was raised, the young winger has drawn many similarities with the Manchester United FC player with his abundance of skill pace and surging runs catching the admiring glances of many clubs both in England and his native Portugal. However Lino signed a Scholarship at Fulham FC and in the 2006/07 season was a regular for the reserves and U18's side. His strong performances at reserve level were rewarded with a promotion to train with the first team squad for the start of the 2007/08 season. Comfortable on the left or right wing, Lino is also a specialist at set pieces and dead ball situations and recently received plaudits for his role in Fulham's 2-1 U18 win over Chelsea. Lino has recently mutally ended his contract with the club, due to insuficent first team opportunities. He is being chased by Newcastle United along with other european teams. Goncalves has been linked with a move to Sporting Lisbon.

Has anyone got any tips or players that will help me get the Latics out of league 1 Has anyone taken over Oldham on FM08 and how far if we got? I have just failed in the playoffs in my first season and currently rebuilding for my second. TTA accepted bids of 375k for Eardley and 725k for Taylor in January nothing I could do about this!! I had 800k to spend for my next season (so I thought) but come pre-season this had gone Decent players Bulgaria striker Makriev (45k) and Switzerland striker Doudin (free) 50 goals between them Sturridge on loan from City also hit 20 goals. Both want out now in pre-season!!! David Templeton winger from Hearts (22k) got 15 goals Michael Woods (Chelsea) and Kilkenny got 20 between them for midfield both on loan Taylor wide left haha. Keeper Brill from Luton did ok and was my first choice. Now defence I got injury after injury sold Thommo 100k Stam 97k and Lomax 70k and Hazell 50k. Kept Gregan and signed Jackson from Blackpool who broke his leg and Luketti who did his ligements all before start of season. Signed Hobbs for Liverpool and Boyle from Everton both on loan who did ok!!!!

Surely just paper talk.. I would of thought we would be looking at 500-750k for Taylor who could well play a big part next season. Can't see Eardley going to another League one club maybe Coventry if they survive would be looking at around 500k though.
