I click on the link for the game and get a screenshot for us against Aldershot.

Moved to Germany in 2003. In the first few months here I went to a beergarden to meet up with other expats & Germans, to which I wore my England shirt. I was given the nickname 3 Lions* there and then.
*I am in no way affiliated with the 3lions Rochdale fan that joined the site some time ago.

Best thing he could do for himself would be to go and play abroad.
-
Just now -
Me "Latics are on Sky tonight."
Missus "Latics, really!...Why?"
Edit - realise I've got my dates mixed up.
-
There won't be a retrial because he has already served his time.
He'll either be cleared or he wont.
-
The opinion of a lawyer friend of mine is that very few cases ever get referred back to appeal after a review, which basically means there are real grounds for his conviction to be overturned.

Using my tablet, so not sure if the link works or not. Website is called stadiumportraits.com
Is this the one?

Getting to Wembley, winning a trophy.

I tend to agree with this however if he is found innocent then she no longer becomes the victim does she. In fact she never was...
She was used for sex by two blokes, she's had to change her identity three times and as far as I am aware never claimed a penny in compensation.
I'd say that qualifies.

Steve Coppell is apparently without a job. 2 year promise to get to the Premier League....

Just what do people expect a new manager to do?
A new manager will have 10+ games to assess the squad and decide what areas they want to strengthen. Rather than bringing someone in just before the new season without watching anyone play.
-
No manager worth anything would ever say they wanted out.
The club doesn't owe us any form of explanation. It was LJ's decision to leave and his alone.
-
It beggars belief, it really does. Let's not talk about the great chance we have to make the play offs, or the work that LJ is doing. No, lets bring up the Ched Evans crapstorm again.
Moron.

It could still be Sheffield United, whilst they retracted the training offer, their chairman came across supporting the player.
I don't believe it is us. The tabloid stories are just lazy journalism.
-
It bothers some, it doesn't bother others.
You wouldn't have to sit down and have dinner with him would you. You'd only have to watch him score goals for your team.
The lad is being hounded out of football by bandwagon jumpers for something that with quite probably be overturned.
An employer has a responsibility to its employees. Would you want your sister/mother/daughter etc working in an environment where a convicted sex offender (In this case rapist) was working (Ask Graham Rix how he is getting on)? I for one wouldn't. As for whether this case will be overturned, I'm not so sure now even though I think the original verdict was wrong. The Evans camp should have just disappeared until the review was done, they've made a rod for their own back. As it is, the only way back in to football now would take massive plastic surgery, change of name and a move abroad. His playing days in the UK are done.

According to the court transcripts, McDonald was in the room when Evans joined in. So any consent would be irrelevant at that point.

Wobble heading aside , I agree with parts of the article and the point it is trying to make.
I just wish they'd hurry the feck up and review the case.

....and that people, Is one of the most unbelievable statements I've seen on this matter.
Wow - and from the PFA too? Who wrote that and thought it was a good idea I wonder?
Unbelievable because....it's the truth?
-
Why should he apologize for a crime he believes 100% that he did not commit? Courts have been known to get convictions wrong from time to time.
In his current predicament, he cannot get back in to football until his case has been reviewed.
-
I personally believe he's innocent, there are too many questions on the basis of everything I've read. But said that, I don't think he can realistically sign for any club until his case is reviewed which unfortunately won't happen until he's in the latter years of, or already finished with his career.

The cctv footage from the hotel reception showed that the woman couldn't stand up.
The footage you speak of shows the girl getting out of the taxi in heels, walking in to the hotel and then walking back outside to crouch down to the ground to pick up a pizza box they left outside and then walked back inside arm in arm with Mcdonald. Someone who could not stand up would not be able to do that unaided.
-
It's difficult because as said above, Evans still maintains his innocence and if you look at the info on his appeal page, you can see why. I personally think that he will eventually have his conviction overturned, it's never made sense to me that the two admitted having sex with the defendant, yet only one of them was deemed guilty of rape? I think people should read in to the case itself and make a judgement based on that.
As to him signing for us...I doubt it.

Legia Warsaw were fined 63K for that banner. UEFA taking punishments very seriously.
Or not....
Steaua Bucharest fined 51K for racist chanting.

Solskjaer should watch his back, Vincent Tan is clearly not the type of owner you want to cross. Cardiff have had these (private)texts since the beginning of the year (allegedly) and the only just release them now just before Malkay was lined up to take the palace job.
MATCH: vs Halifax (H) 15/08/23
