Avoiding the tan shoe fashion faux pas...
-
OK, but even so , Joe hardly betrayed us, he stuck with us through thin and thick. He still achieved so much for us. Johnson jumped ship first opportunity.
We don't know what happened... Have you ever left a job for a pay rise? I would every time. LJ isn't a Latics fan, he is a guy doing a job to further his career and personal opportunities.
-
Now wouldnt it be ironic if we went on and did the unthinkable this season.
Yes it would... Perhaps Lockwood is Mourinho in disguise... Or the bald bloke that keeps trying to make people go to Nandos the new Alex Ferguson?
-
Gah - gutted. Back to mid table and a new squad next year, if we can get the points we need!!
-
I doubt Lockwood will feature... If he is fit he is certainly not match fit and seems more interested in filming games at the back of the main stand upper...
-
No he's not!!!
Agreed!
-
There's no way anyone will be able to understand a word he says, based on his interview after Hartlepool!
-
I can't see why adding another Striker (one we could afford) would help for this reason alone. Bring in another Byfield and we still won't score. Disastrous December.
-
Who knows, certainly seems as if something has gone on behind the scenes, maybe players unhappy with the dropping of Rachubka, maybe something deeper.
-
damn straight?
As in agreed! Affirmative, Connor Brown did well etc.
-
agree on Connor brown, really do think he's improving very fast!
Damn straight!
-
Just be human nature or something, but slagging off the defence is crazy. 1 goal against a very professional and organised Derby side with muscle and pace! And serious money.
Can't people see the benefit of having a CB like Mellor to distribute the ball? Mistakes may have been made, but Derby County (Championship top 10 club) only scored 1 against us.
Connor Brown was excellent - I really don't understand why people get on his back???
Pretty sure another CB is on the way, but the whole nature of the performance and working the ball forward from the back was refreshing.
Although as mentioned we all see things differently. Think of the positives though for feck's sake people.
-
Hasn't he gone to the wendies?
Amazing considered he was potentially going to be England's saviour at one point! Still, not a fan.
-
Chillax dude.
-
Is he not 12?
-
-
Someone will take a "gamble" on him. If we can keep him by hook or by crook, he will score goals. I think his intelligence and willingness to learn sets him apart from most in league 1.
-
Would Simpson have been in the right place to score?
He would have been rolling around on the floor somewhere.
-
The FACT we are in the relegation zone with a chairman who is naive on making footballing appointments is why we should protest now!!!! (if this johnson rumour is true)
Won't achieve a bean sir. Rather we didn't fanny around looking like idiots and tried to help the team stay up.
Corney isn't going to suddenly bring in Mourinho and spend £10m on the team if 50 people start waving banners and acting like c**ts.

-
Lee of course.
-
1 goal would show potential wouldn't it????
-
I thought he showed enough. Any striker that scores in a game has done enough and his link up play with Barnard after only a week of training is excellent - hell of an asset.
-
Idiots. Surely having more Everton fans would make it worse if there was trouble.
The great Oldham:Everton rivalry, just like Leeds:Millwall. We are hardly likely to cause trouble.

Agreed, couldn't remember his last contribution to the game on quite a few occasions yesterday - seemed lightweight, lost and knackered! Let's put it down to tiredness! Good job Kelly was on it.
