  1. I agree with this - we've gone from Frank Drebin of Police squad as a manager to John McClaine shooting our opponents in a tower block...

And we've definitely taken 1 German down,

    albeit our own.

Odds against us but Yippee Kay Aye Mother f**ker

  2. Hilarious! - Boycott the North stand!

I'm going to Boycott all beer, supermarkets, utility providers and any radio programme with Geoffrey Boycott in it.

If you can't get behind the club and the team, take up gardening, go and watch City or United or something!

  3. I'm risking my marriage by going to this. After three games on the spin at home I'd promised the bread knife I'd do 'family :censored:' this weekend, :censored: that I wouldn't miss this one for the world. Tickets bought, just need to tell Doris.#prayfordick

I did the same! I've taken Friday off to go wandering around an acquarium or something ;-)

  4. Both the players and manager are to blame.

If you have a bloke that can't catch, coaching can only help so much.

If I was a Latics player I would self motivate for a move that could get me an extra £500 per week, but other than Kelly this team does seem to be mentally fragile.

But confidence and ability can be increased with motivation and for this useless bunch they need a manager to sort them out. Unfortunately this isn't Dunn.

  5. You know what, as much as I don't rate Dunn, if Corney came out and said that Dunn would be in charge regardless of whether we were in League One or Two next season I could kind of accept it. At least it would be a sign that there's some sort of medium term plan from the top of the club.

Right now the last I've heard from the club on the matter is that "relegation is not an option" or that it would be a "disaster" if we go down.

I'd much prefer that we got a manager in that had experience of getting out of relegation battles before that could firefight the current predicament, but if not then now is the time to say that Dunn has their 100% backing. The longer the uncertainty about this goes on, the more pressure will be put on from us fans to get rid of him.

Yep, they need to realise that acceptance is intrinsicly related to knowledge.

Communication now is the key. From directors to manager from directors to supporters and from manager to players.

Once we know the score we can resign ourselves to our fate.

  6. I think we'll be relegated and I think Dunn will still be in charge.

Depending on how cheap he really is he could still be in charge at the start of next season as well.

I think Corney has long since decided he can't/won't spend another penny on this club.

    Agreed.

How much, commercially, is our league 1 status worth, considering our necessary spend to conserve it?

  7. Man management leaves a lot to be desired. A rookie manager with an experienced head could work, a rookie manager in a relegation battle with a defensive coach trying to find his way obviously doesn't.

I saw the team today and it ahould be so much stronger than it is.
