You know.......I hadn't given you a moment's thought (either of you) but now you are here, you still come across as the village idiot.

Just out of interest, who signed Mills, would he have been a target for Scholes because the new manager and coach wouldn’t have heard of him?.
According to Lee Sinnott, it was the enigma known as "Barry Owen".

Out of interest, what is it you would need to see (or expect to be) presented in order to be persuaded that there was interference around his (non) selection?
All I'm doing is countering an opinion held by some.
We keep hearing the same stories going around and are expected to believe them.
An example is the changing room incident....some say AL charged in ranting and was grabbed around the throat by a player no longer with us, others say it never happened. Who should I believe? Do I condemn AL because of mob rule?
All I'm asking for is clarity. Is that so wrong?

Yep. His agent was touting him around for a move. AL got wind of it and stopped managers from playing him. Could have carried on playing him and sold him on, now we've had to release him and cost us more.
You didn't mention Scholes by name but the timeline points to it.

And that means what exactly?
I'm assuming you can put forward a cogent argument apart from a dumb-ass emoji.

I don’t need to offer proof, don’t give a shit if you don’t believe it.
But what the f*ck is this "it" that you expect me to believe?
So far, all you've put forward is anecdotal evidence and expect people to accept it as gospel.
State clearly your evidence but don't just push Scholes' comments as proof positive because, from my perspective, he was using the "interference" argument to cover his managerial shortcomings.

Where's proof?
This is a bit like "Young Frankenstein".
Gene Wilder: "Werewolf"".
Marty Feldman: "Therewolf".

You keep your nose skin, thank you very much. As yet you have offered no proof apart from 'anecdotal'.

Where did I write “interference - end of”? Weird comment. If I need to explain the difference then there’s no point going further.
Poetic licence, Jorvic. There are still arguments about this 'interference". I have yet to be convinced that it actually took place.

Playing for 1 manager (who stated that he wanted no interference from AL) doesn’t back you up. He didn’t play directly before or directly after which shows that it was likely that PW was told not to start him. That’s what you’re missing.
And just trotting out the argument of "interference - end of" doesn't back up your case either.
So what's the difference between not selecting him to start and putting him on the bench?
Surely if AL was having a direct influence as you say, then Hunt would be training with the kids and totally absent on matchdays.
I'm still thinking that this interference card was just an excuse by Scholes to get out because being a manager was not what he thought it would be.

He played some out of necessity.
So let me get this straight...
Last 3 matches of Scholes's reign (I couldn't be arsed to go back further), Hunt was a regular.....but AL was interfering so Hunt in the team flies in the face of this "interference" argument. PW takes over and AL is interfering and telling PW not to play Hunt but he is still in the match day squad.
What am I missing here?

Riiiiggghht…...that's why PW played him in half his matches in his second stint.

We played Hamer with Dummigan on the right before now so why not Hamer with Mills.

Sadly he's right.
We do have a lot of fans who adopt a stance and would then rather be proven "right" to the detriment of the club than give credit where it's due if they're proven wrong.
They're a psychologists dream I'd imagine....
A lot of them also wrongly use the word "fickle" to describe those of us who just try to call it as we see it - i.e. praise us when we're good, slate us when we're shit - rather than adopt an agenda that must not be deviated from....
Succinctly put, sir!

Agree with super_blue. Banide’s English may be limited but he did understand the questions. However just how many English people will be at the club to allow his language skills to develop is open to debate!
No problem......we have Billy.

I have in my mind this conversation between Mo & Laurent:
Mo: Welcome to BP.
LB: F*ck me, it's cold.
Mo: And this is your office.
LB: You have to be f*ckin' kidding!
Mo: And if you like you need to make a call....wait 'til someone answers before you put a coin in the slot.
Mo: Here is a key to the executive toilet. The blue fleece on the hook is Barry's.
LB : IZAL!!! No comfy-bum?
Mo: Right...next stop....I'll show you the training ground.
LB: You bleedin' won't...I've got a plane to catch/.

....that’s probably a bit unfair... but it’s a long odds gamble just the same. Marco risks taking us into non league if it fails. I’d imagine he’ll do a runner if that happens.
Yep, a bit...…..Monaco youth or Sunderland under 8's...….apologies, Laurent.

Well either way he had a promotion under his belt so how could I have made a promotion up? We employed 3 managers who were winners successful.. All we seem to be doing ia repeating the same pricesses of hiring managers who haven't tasted success in their roles as managers ... that's what my point is.
Nope....read it not once, not twice but thrice and I'm thinking "WTF"!!!

A French football journo from L’Equipe has just been in le radio to say Thierry Henry speaks highly of him. He’s highly regarded as a youth coach, but not as a manager/head coach.
A bit like the Dazzler then.

Why only a one year deal ? Starting 1st July ?
Could be a mutually agreed 12 month rolling contract as per Paul Dickov.

With a start date of 1st July does that mean no signings until then or now Marco and Mo have their coach will they build the team without him.
I suspect football in the gulf is a light year away from elf division 4.
Could be wonderful - Banide’s Blue and White Army.
Could be what we expect - TWT
I've seen elf division 4.....not a very high standard.

You stated categorically that AL stopped managers from picking Hunt when the team lists from both PS and PW showed this statement to be untrue. What am I getting wrong here?
