You're bonkers. Just bonkers.
Fair play like. But... mental.
Agree Bonkers - obsessive. Last season at least I wasnt working so it was relativley easy to do.
Have been working full time-ish since May.
Couldnt do it with out the wife supporting Latics as well. She has done 120ish of the 126 herself.

As we approach the end of 2011 thought I would work out how many Latics games I have been to this year.
From Hartlepool (A) on New Years Day to Notts. County on Saturday I make it 126. Add the Latics Ladies games (8) the grand total is 134.
Bring on the men in white coats.

Saw him and his father at a Latics reserve game - Tranmere at Prenton Park - earlier this season.
-
With it being a night game would you prefer us to play in our home blue kit or the away black kit with there being no colour clash just like the good old days ?
How about all white - that would look good under the lights.

Just one reserve game scheduled in the next week.
The reserves have a Manchester Senior Cup group game at home to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm. The game is at Boundary Park.
Former Latic Tom Eaves should be in the Bolton teamhaving recently returned from injury.
Bolton are level on 9 points at the to of the table but having played a game more (4) than Manchester United and Manchester City.
This will be Latics 3rd game in the competition having won 1 and lost 1 with a -2 goal difference. A win is a must if Latics are to stand any chance of qualifying for the final.
Date for the diary: Lancashire Senior Cup QF at Accriongton Stanley has been arranged for Tuesday 10th January 2012 19.00 KO.
-
If anyone is interested I will be tweeting updates from Carrow Road tomorrow from about 18.45 to the end of the game.

-
Jesus you will travel to Norwich for a youth cup game ?! #superfan
It has become a obsession. Even Mrs D doesnt ask are we going she just assumes we are.
-
Delighted for the lads and well done Luke Simpson.
Made a mistake for their goal but between him and Alex Parkes they made some outstanding stops to keep Macc at bay in normal time.
So Norwich and Southend added to the fixtures within 24 hours. Thats another 1000 miles or so. Bugger. Add in Bournemouth and Charlton .

It was never a penalty

This is going to be an unpopular post so I'll prefix this with the fact that I spent last year's holiday going round the Normandy beaches, cemeteries and memorials. Here's a picture of the British Cemetery at Ranville, not far from Pegasus Bridge.
Which is only to illustrate that I am well aware of the purpose of the poppy appeal, to commemorate the fallen from past and current conflicts.
Premier League teams can probably afford to have shirts they only wear for a couple of games, the smaller teams are less likely to do so. We may have done this in the past but I'd rather the money went elsewhere at the moment. There were only about 4000 Latics fans in the ground yesterday, I don't think we should be spending the money on this. If the club wanted to be involved by all means get some cheap stick on poppies rather than getting Carbrini to do a limited run with poppies stitched into the shirts.
The money from putting a poppy on a Latics shirt wouldn't go to the poppy appeal, it would go to Carbrini or the company that sold the stick on poppies. For Latics to do anything useful they would have to donate X amount to the poppy appeal fund in addition to paying for modified shirts, in effect, paying twice. I'd rather the individual fan make their own mind up as to whether they want to donate to the poppy fund and leave the club out of it.
We did the poppy shirt for the FA Cup game against Kettering Town 11 November 2006. The shirts where auctioned off after the game with procceds going to RBL.
vs Liverpool match scarf wanted

Bought 2 different scarfs and 2 match badges last night but I spied a third design scarf that I didn't get.
It was half red and blue with text across the top "The famous cup" and at each end was a shirt outline.
If anyone got one of those and wants to sell it please pm me.
