They didn't stay overnight for the Southampton game either. Is it a case that the club are looking at where we are in the league and "classing" the games on importance whether they spend the cash or not?

 

Also there have been a lot more Southern games this season and that must have hit the clubs pocket with the amount of ovenight stays too.

 

Well we got a unexpected point at Southmapton, lets see what the result is today - maybe overnight stays have a detremental effect on this team and maybe we shouldn't do ovenights period from now on

i agree with all that but in this case they were told they were going friday morning

i find all this very worrying if we don,t even have money for a hotel stay for 1 night things must be bad and the warnings to the players over contracts confirms it.

its true players have not been paid win bonuses appearance fees or whatever they get,on wed the plan was to travel today but have been told theres no money and will go tomorrow.

also contracts not to be looked at until season ends but have been warned theres no money

Eaves has very good ball control, but is doing things a bit too hurriedly at the moment, he's the best prospect this club has had in years, give him a a couple of full games and this will bring him on tremendously.

a loan spell where he could play week in week out would be best,a couple of games won,t have him ready for our first team but maybe 6 month out on loan would

niether me or anyone else would expect him at 17/18 to be the finished article but at that age i would expect him to be able to control a ball.

Strangely enough they are both Stalybridge lads! I remember Clegg's debut at home to ???? I sat next to his dad and didnt realise until I had ripped him to bits........... however when I realised and apologised his dad would have none of it and said he was his biggest critic. Fair play!
