Don't always agree with you Lags and no pun intended but that's about as fair a post as I've seen on the subject, given we are clearly going in to next season with MM in charge it's probably about time the slate was cleaned on all sides and we offer him our backing, there's little to be gained from hoping a manager fails for anyone to prove their point, in fact if that does happen it will undoubtedly be another failed season we'll rack up and surely no fan wants that, I've decided I'm going to renew next season in the hope that DR and MM can clean up some of the mess and give us a team we can all be proud of. Here's hoping.

Folded like a cheap pack of cards there Faz...

    What gave that away, Rob?

Was it the “£1 a month”?

On topic, the OASF exists to help fans. The support the OASF, it costs £1 a month. In turn, some interviews etc will be done with them and members will get access.

Really not worth moaning about. I’m sure there’ll be a statement on the official at some point soon. But if you really wanna see it, pay £1 a month…

    Hi Ste

The person I was replying to seemed to be under the impression there had been only one meeting with Darren Royle rather than it being a monthly event.

I think discussions with the CEO should be available for free to view for all, particularly in regards to decisions that affect all fans.

A couple of people involved with OASF agreed with this principle in conversations I had with them on X earlier today.

In the spirit of goodwill after these conversations I renewed my OASF membership.

    Hope this helps.

Another big call you’ve got wrong.

    Meanwhile - I’m spot on. 😎

Hmm, may and could seems to be doing the heavy lifting in that article.

Quite frankly if what good looks like is the likes of Green and Gardner and we are relying on moving others on in order to be able to offer them something then alarm bells should be ringing.

But those and other concerns can be parked for now, I'm off to enjoy what will be hopefully be a fantastic summer of sport and maybe even some nicer weather, if they ever stop spraying the sky with chemicals of course...

Stay safe and stay entertained ✌️

I agree with you. My concern is we've thrown a good few quid at it and been shit, if the budget is down considerably, the club may well be thinking along the lines of consolidation which is unacceptable imo.

Plenty of teams seem to have done well with lesser budgets, if Mellon can’t work with what he's got then he should step aside for someone who will.

That statement is really bad. It’s like they are trying to piss fans off. I still reckon two or three of them will get deals.

why not just say the ones we are definitely not keeping and the ones we are in talks with.

He says he wants as much wriggle room as he can, why would he keep any that he can let go with no issue? And who really cares if Mike Fondop or Harrison McGahey get a new contract or not?

Yes you can. You can confirm whether or not they are negotiating a new deal with them.

Just informing us what we already know about when their contracts ends does not clarify what is happening for the coming season.

I think given the manager's well documented comments about the need for change you can make a pretty strong educated guess that none of them will be offered new contracts.

Why is the club so bad with statements?

They must know people are anxious. They must know people are waiting for a glimmer of hope. They must know people are waiting for decisions on players before buying season tickets.

If MM is the honest straight talking guy he says he is, then give us some proper information.

Not sure you can get much clearer than these ones are under contract and these ones are not...
