  1. Faz has summed things beautifully further up the thread. It really is difficult to see where things are going or what the plan is.
  2. Nobody appoints dud managers as consistently as Oldham Athletic.
  3. Can't be booing a team that has been lifted from the bottom four to fifth by one man.
  4. We'll definitely be favourites with the bookies, why wouldn't we be with the guy who's won five promotions...
  5. He won player of the year apparently, I mean I don't know what relevance it has to anything but he won it so that's it, he cannot be criticised
  6. I just thought the way you guys talked your guy up we'd have been higher than 9th at this stage.
  7. Mate, I thought he'd been rotating the squad so they would be peaking right now?
  8. Be quite some feat if a team that has won 4 in 12 suddenly starts showing promotion form when the pressure is highest.
  9. The only thing we have to fear is our own wretched form.
  10. Chessie so far in front they decided to take a pull so they could win it in front of their own fans, respect.
  11. You know lads, it is possible to be a decent human and also get something wrong. The facts are unless he literally legged it off the pitch into his car then there's no reason he couldn't have spent 5 minutes accepting the award, his Twitter response was also out of order, he should apologise for that. If Mellon or someone else gave him the ok to skip it then they too made a mistake.
  12. He didn't have five minutes spare so wouldn't have needed to be a lengthy delay... Although he did have time to jump on Twitter/X at 15.28...
  13. The ultimate seal of approval. If you are disagreeing then I know I've got it right.
  14. Another one who can't string a sentence together without the use of profanities.
  15. I'm sure everyone would have understood if he had pulled out of the game in that scenario. You needn't feel sorry for me, I don't abuse people I don't know on the Internet.
  16. If he says he had an urgent appointment then he had an urgent appointment.
  17. The issue is simply about showing some common courtesy to those who have paid decent money for a package that includes what I imagine would be a very brief post match chat with the man of the match. It doesn't matter if people in attendance are bothered about it or not, you still show up, probably still in your kit, do your 5-10 minutes then you can be on your way, nobody is asking them to drink the bar dry or sit down for a three course meal. I neither like nor dislike James Norwood or Micky Mellon and I certainly don't wish to see them fail.
  18. I mean unless it was over the road he was certainly leaving it late to get to where he needed to be so urgently but of course we give the utmost respect.
