I hope we are the sole winners in the relegation fight.

2 towns of not hugely different size. I'll take our last 30 years and our next over theirs any day of the week and twice on SH,w many
How many teams in Premiership/Football League own their own ground and have money in the bank. That's what this debate is about.

Depends what you classify as progress.
If staying in the 3rd tier division for 3 yrs is the sum of your achievements in history fair enough !!
Well I must admit they they are still years behind us on that issue.I was talking about their finanancial situation.
-
So it's took until now for them to run properly? What have they been up to for the last 20 years?
Don't knock it .They can rightly be proud of their progress.

Just renewed, any refunds due will be paid from 7 th April.

Aren't they trying to attract people who don't normally buy a ST with this offer thouI
Certainly, but my point is that whoever you are you can't lose.

Isn't it a gamble that's completely loaded in the clubs favour? Basing discounts on home wins that we pick up. When we've won, what? Twice, three times in a whole year?
It's interesting, but I think people expecting a bit :censored:off lump of cashback might be left a tad disappointed.
Wish they would have done this in Shez's last spell as manager when we were :censored: hot.
If you are renewing anyway, then how can you lose. It's a can't lose bet.

No idea how their keeper got MotM. Aside from the Winchester shot he had nowt to do, not that it was without pressure - we were in the game, just seemed to spurn every break away or miss the target when it mattered.
Murphy and Holloway very impressive nevertheless, as they managed to cause problems and keep lively with some nice touches. Forte had one of those in and out games, and can see him making way for Holloway.
Their wingers were among the best you'll see this season so the full backs did a decent job restricting them to just a couple of breaks. Same goes for the centre backs - worked well covering each other as a three, and can see that being very effective away from home.
Feels like we're onto something now, but ultimately we need that home win for the momentum to stay up. Our survival is dependent on it.
Don't think you were watching the same match as me.

And I'd say he was more of a midfielder than a striker.
memory fading somewhat now but I would say he was what we called "inside left"

Have you considered the possibility that the ref hasn't made his mind up yet?
It's not the decision I'm on about it's keeping people informed .....some of us have over 60 mile round trips .

I`ve given myself a couple of hours to reflect after today's match. I`ve not bothered looking at the table, simply because, in my opinion, it's irrelevant - we are going down - guaranteed. I cannot believe some of the people on here who have said that was a good performance and "the wins will come if we play like that". What were you watching? We looked a poor side - and the combined efforts of Poleon, Forte, Murphy, Cassidy didn't actually look as though they would score in a month of Sundays. By far and away our best player was the young lad from Burton - says it all really.
Some of our "efforts" in front of goal (Forte and Wichester in particular) were almost childish in their lack of execution. We have no central defence basically - well not one with any guts or spine. Any team knows they only have to score one goal and then sit back and watch us huff and puff with nil effect. And whenever the opposition just wants to bully us out of the game - they do - because we have a side with nil physical presence.
No, I`m sorry - we just have a very, very poor set of players - I`ll stick by Shez as he goes through a massive re-building process in the bottom tier - he may as well start now and get rid of some of those who should be utterly ashamed to even call themselves professional footballers.
I`ll be at Shrewsbury - Latics are just just in my blood - and it hurts to hear Bury singing "Da da da da da - f ckin useless" - unfortunately as I sat there and watched the usual utter drivel - I had no choice but to agree with them (with just 2 exceptions today - Jones and the young lad from Burton).
I`ve always been a supporter of Simon Corney but it dawned on me today that the lack of PROPER investment on the playing front has led us to this position - we shall be watching 4th division football from a shiny new stand - an absolute crying shame.
Good honest assessment....glad to see you are keeping the faith but under no disillusionment.
