It does hack me off a tad when I arrive in Oldham after a 190 mile trip to hear that the game is off...?
60 mile round trip for nothing does not please me, especially with no warning of any problems three hours before KO.

Sky Sports just said that Newcastle have until 1 a.m. to complete the paperwork I assume that applies to all clubs.
You are technically correct ....paper work must be completed by 1AM.

Thought an influx of players would follow as soon as the takeover was complete.
Only if they are free agents.

Underdog, with the greatest respect, this issue has been raised by fans, is it not in your remit to represent their concerns to the powers that be?

Trust Oldham will now focus its efforts on several fronts, these will be:
Protecting the future of Oldham Athletic: Having a fan on the board of the club is vital in ensuring a debacle similar to that of the 'Chris Moore Era' will never happen again un-noticed. Whilst the Trust may be unable to stop such an event happening, we will be in a good position to see this happening, and have plans formulated to cope with such a situation.
Representing the views of the fans: The fans are the very soul of the club - there is no doubt of that. By having a fan on the Board of Directors, the view of many Oldham Athletic fans can be aired at board-room level. The Trust will always strive to ensure that fans are treated in a fair manner, and help build a fan-friendly football club.

Hello laticsmarra.
Its harsh to say but it's not a trust issue. Match day experiences both home and away are dealt with by a specific team. The SLO team come under the remit of the club via I think, an EFL directive.
Luckily though, one of the Trust directors volunteers as an SLO and does keep us updated on issues like this. So I will have a word with him re Tannoy to see if it's been reported...again as I think their were issues last season?
Cheers

Prediction league: "The other half of the pot, minus any fees, will be split equally as donations to PlayerShare and Dr Kershaw's Hospice."
Maybe in future this half could go to OWTB fees. After all, no OWTB, no OWTB prediction league?
Still think a small fee(1p per post) would e reasonable .Make people think twice before posting and make a handsome profit for Playershare and Kershaws.

I think Wellens likes to use these press conferences to keep the opposition guessing. Some of the things he says are apparently contradictory
e.g. He says he likes JCH, pretty much confirms he is in for him but says a deal can't be done before tomorrow. Then says his overall requirement is Doyle, Bryan and Byrne plus another striker. From that I'd assume that the 2nd striker is JCH, but he also says there is a chance of having another striker in for tomorrow.
I wouldn't be surprised if the registration issues have been resolved but the first we hear of it is when the team sheet comes out tomorrow.
Think they may release most info today (if any) so as to boost tomorrows attendance.

It's not allowed...may I ask why do you think it is?...genuine question thanks
Thats what I was asking a genuine question. A further question would be where has the money come from for foreign signings/wages?

I don't think the rules allow it. If it was allowed and was happening, it could be accounted for as that fortune income and increase the SCMP limit.
Yes but what if it was happening?
