Yes, there are 3 courses of action:

Any members of the snowflake generation on here can probably claim it's an anti-Northern hate crime and seek counselling.

Those of us over 30/40/50 will just piss ourselves laughing.

Those over 60/70/80 will just piss themselves anyway.

Over 70 and all mine rns into a bag so no worries.

I was thinking the same, its a thankless task and to put your own life in the hands of somebody who makes countless decisions without the decency to even consult you is crazy..Especially with our recent track record i expect Diane to be declared bankrupt very soon through no fault of her own.

It might be wise for her to resign asap, too much to expect her to place herself in such jeopardy.

The whole things makes no sense, whatever he has spent he has spent. At what point do u buy a club without having a understanding of what’s coming in and going out. You could look at the numbers and say, ok we get promoted the money comes in. But we went down, if your going to shut up shop and jump shop U do it then?! It almost feels like this was planned from day one , to quote Baldrick “a cunning plan” by corney. Get some mule to take over the club knowing it will go tits. Then him and his friends selll the land or have some clown to front the club, so he doesn’t deal with the shit afterwards. I don’t believe that, but it’s almost as believable as what is going on ?

The thought has crossed my mind.

By definition mutual termination means that both Byrne and the club have agreed to the package. If they had grounds to get rid of him without a payoff (a sacking) they would’ve done it weeks ago rather than waiting all this time.

Thats what I said....the package is tear up your contract, no payoff ,and we will let you go.Not too hard to understand is it ? If you don't like it then you can stay  and rot training with the youth ....simples.

It generally means that both parties have agreed to a suitable severance package - he’d have got a decent pay off from this, which makes the decision all the more baffling.

Don't kid yourself  imho it means you can go if you want to, but you not getting a penny from us. If Killie pay you a signing on fee thats between yourselves.

I was there too. 3rd Round January 1962. I was in the RRE with my mate in the middle of a few thousand Scousers. And they were a fantastic bunch. If Bobby Johnstone's shot that hit the bar and bounced in and out (I'm sure it did) had been given, we'd have had a replay.

Liverpool got promoted to the old first division that season.

Didn't Johnny Colquhoon have one disallowed? (memory's not what it was)
