    Re: the seven figures over 5years, if the deal happens, will no doubt be based on the share of the profits from the shop. It won't be a straight cash for sponsorship deal. In other words ignore talk of seven figures unless the store is a massive success. Still, if the deal does happen it will be a huge improvement on the current setup - credit to SC for this one...unless of course the M.E.N disclosure has scuppered it ;-)

    All good suggestions and you are all perfectly correct, there does need to some more specific requests as there are a number of tasks that require do work. If I could suggest that you just bear with the Trust a couple more days whilst the agm minutes and outcomes are secured. There are new people on the board after the agm and I believe the intention is to create said task list/requests soon as is possible, with timescales for the new season/season ticket the major factor.

    Plenty, like I say I'm ok with the pricing decision they've reached - the announcement ie those bits you outlined are just a couple of execution elements in what could/should've been a better planned and implemented campaign. It is sadly once again a great opportunity missed with just the minimum elements they could get away with. That's all

    Maybe. In a catch the pigeon style comp perhaps?? Just felt that (as you well know) there are plenty better, more planned and organised ways to launch such a key sales initiative for the business.

    After 7 years I'm ok with the increase - don't think it's been dealt with well as ever! - but brings it home when the o/h has just renewed her season ticket at Burnley paying £20 less than mine (in cre) and she'll be (probably) watching Premier League football next season...
