Audacity - Freeware sound editor and converter.
Firefox - Freeware browser that's miles better than Internet Explorer.
WinAmp - Again the freeware domain knocks Microsoft into a cocked hat - This is a great audio player...
ZoneAlarm - Freeware firewall - well recommended.
AVG Anti Virus - Another great freeware anti virus program. Daily updates make this a winner...
Ccleaner - A fanastic freeware cleanup tool, I take this to every job I go to.
Ewido Anti Spyware - Now AVG but still a top bit of kit.
SpyBot Search & Destroy - I have two anti spyware programs to cover me, this is my second. Quality.
Juice - Freshly squeezed excellence. Cross-platform podcast reciever without all the Apple :censored:e that goes with it.
GOM Player - A great video viewer that does the lot.
Irfanview - Splendid image manipulation and conversion tool, I use this a lot.
I'll post more when I get a minute.

What I'm saying is just be careful, you might think smashing to pieces will prevent people accessing the data - it doesn't - it can still be retrievable. It's possible to recover data from hard discs that have been in a fire - I've heard of drives being recovered from an inferno that reached 1700 degrees Fahrenheit for Chissake - been sunken at the bottom of a river or lake for two or more days, and yes - even the hard drives that have been crushed beyond recognition...
The only real way of removing the data, is to degause the drive and then destroying the platters.

Excellent stuff Mark, I think you can even see the Back Row Choir in your picture of the Lookers!
Atmoshere was great and everybody was singing in our section - your photo does us Lookers lot proud!

Chris Hall put himself about a bit, ran in odd directions sometimes - but not bad considering the end result. Rocky did okay too - but for my money Lomax did a sterling job to keep them quiet yesterday. Charlton's got the experience and It showed yesterday too, but I must admit I gave out a groan when Lomax trotted on - but didn't he do well!!!
So well played young man you did us proud yesterday...

It also creates a bottleneck of fans at the bottom of the stairs next to the gents, no-one can move...

Did anybody else see the furore, and the "open-to-all-to-view" dramatic resignation of the steward in the "reception area" in between the gents toilets and the pie counter?
I know it was something to do with the one-in-and-one-out Health and Saftey regs that have been enforced, but it was a female steward with a clicker when I barged past her for my half time pint. However on my way back up, the girl had disappeared and there were 2 male stewards (1 was probably a supervisor) and a couple of regular Joes trying to put their point across.
I did not witness the "resignation" but I had it second hand from one of our back row army (Cheers Loz).
About the rule - did I miss a meeting somewhere along the line? I don't remember a handout or a flyer being distibuted mentioning this...
What happens if (and this happened yesterday - I think it was Walshy actually but I'm not sure) you've already paid your pint on for half time before the match kicks off, but actually at half time you come down bang on the whistle, and go to the toilet. When you emerge from the gents the quota has been filled, and you have to wait there like a right lemon for God knows how long until there's a "vacancy". Not been thought through this I reckon - unless of course I did mis a meeting...

Thanks Sean!

Did we just win then? Are we top of the league? Am I going to wake up from this dream? It just seems surreal. Was manic in BP when that went in. Get in!
In the second half the atmosphere just ramped up, it was fantastic. We should've won that about 2 or 3 nil. They were no great shakes. And when the goal went in it was absolute chaos in the Lookers upper....

What about another thread with non-techie, football related links, like the live tables one, or the sky sports centre, BBC website Latics page?
Of course, good idea - I'll sort that out when I've got a min - I've got to get my :censored: together now!
-
Have a safe journey mate.

Thanks Glynn!
