or maybe you support Israels abuse of innocent palestinians.
Unless I'm very much mistaken, Griffin claimed last night that his was the only party to support Israel's right to defend itself by using it's Western-supplied army against kids throwing stones.

I would add that I would always rinse the goat thoroughly before slaying and stewing or roasting it. I'm not disgusting after all.
So you've purchased some sort of special goat douche then? That's dedication folks!

The horror... the horror...
6 balls! You dirty bugger...

i know it's easy for me to say but i hope you either told them to shut the f**k up or reported it to a steward.
I was waiting to hear it repeated, which it wasn't (by either party) before mentioning it. As for reporting it to the stewards, I can't think of a better way to waste my time! Unfortunately today will reinforce some thoughts I already had about who to bring to matches in future.
It wasn't the worst I've heard at BP by a long way. But anyone abusing Trotman shows their ignorance as well as their prejudice.
-
As above. Heard it from the row behind today (directed at Neal Trotman!) and from a couple of rows in front as well. Muppets.
Is it any wonder why BP isn't frequented by a more representative cross-section of the people of Oldham?

Would Ariel Sharon be a worthier recipient?
BTW, that WAS a joke!

what peace has he made , he is in a war in afganistan , iraq soon 1with iran and north korea , so why on earth did he get the award
Would Ariel Sharon be a worthier recipient?

Brooke has looked well out of his depth (sadly) when he's been brought on. He took the goal at Walsall excellently, not straightforward either. But this season he looks like he can't get rid of the ball quickly enough.
Pav looked to be feeling his injury by the end of the game yesterday. I wouldn't mind seeing O'Grady being given a chance if necessary, but I suspect he'll go to the Dale for an undisclosed fee in January.

NB. I already have 'Sledgehammer', incase you wre thinking of that.
But that's a classic! Used to love that show.

Get it now and again, but only on the laptops strangely. All running Avast. It seems to have a problem with a GIF on the main header!

Why assume they're talking about Brill? Fleming and Brill were at the club together...
-
Will anyone come up with a song about Barnes and McAteer? Kind of hard to find anything appropriate to rhyme...

Doesn't work for an open space, only for a building.
Aggravated trespass then?

they have actually got a bulldozer they took the gates off the field's fence. if they wanted to get in they will. and because of these stupid laws we have they can stay for a few days before moving on. they wont even get charged for the damage they did to the fence and gate. wich is stupid.
Surely that's breaking and entering? Or is there no 'proof'?

I know. What with me being a Welsh Fenian . I mean, I myself used to know th guys in my Rochdale kebab shop very well, and indeed would use the word, "Paki," with them, but I thought it was clear that I used it in context just then to contrast a fairly blunt and offensive racial stereotype and the stock response of the person using it.
Did you ask them if they cooked dogs? Or even walked dogs?

That's one of my favourite phrases on the internets.
Because it invariably means, "what I'm about to type sounds like bullsh*t, looks like bullsh*t and smells like bullsh*t" ...
And yet in this case is completely true. The daughter of one of Mrs Anchor's colleagues was on the show. The fee? £50 plus drinks.
-
Didn't see the programme myself, but I'm reliably informed that the 'local' girls featured hail from the better parts of Rochdale, and wouldn't go out in Oldham if (well, UNLESS actually) you paid them. All staged by the producers.

He must have had a bet to see how often he could say 'Exciting times' during the interview. Despite all his off-field flaws, I wish him well and hope he sorts himself out.

Andrea Lynch sounds like such a cock. She is encouraging everyone to flood Hardy's email. Perhaps all latics fans should send her a message just to piss er off further
Whilst I wouldn't recommend or condone that (it will only help her to prove her point) her knowledge of football crowds clearly dates back to the 1970s. There will be lots of them to contend with too...

Match days will see the area filled with people drinking, littering and urinating against garden walls.
Leeslover doesn't get to all the games anymore, so the problem should be minimised.
I would also be interested to talk to you about the BNP and links they have to certain elements of your football club's fanbase. I am deeply troubled to think that match days will bring football hooligans with links to facist groups into this area. This is more worrying... OAFC vs. NIMBYs Round 2?

Miaow! I've already started the campaign to restore the 24 route to go over into Dale. Maybe if it only stops outside your house and the folks place, they won't even notice...
It still does, at least until 7ish. I wasn't thinking of myself as much as those who come from further afield, and who rely on public transport. Getting to the new ground should be easy enough.
I fear that getting away may be another matter though. At BP, the crowd disperses in all directions. The same won't be as true at Failsworth. Buses and trams will be overloaded, and traffic will cause more problems than at present. I suppose it's an excuse to stop for a drink or 3 before leaving.
-
if anyone says no there an absolute idiot, i have traveled from failsworth for 10years now so whats the diff in me coming up there from them coming down here..... if i can travel so can other people, c*** excuse ifs thats what they come up with
If everyone else who currently goes lived very close to BP, your argument would make some sense. As it is it's just stupid.

According to tomorrow's Rochdale Observer, SC suggested we ground-share at Spotland until a new stadium (for both teams) could be built! Rochdale's chairman is apparently open to discussions about such a move, although no detailed negotiations have taken place.
-
I hope we redevelop BP over the next few years.
I don't see what interest Rochdale would have in a ground share. They've already got a relatively modern stadium, with much better facilities than the current BP.
Nick Griffin on Question Time
in The Andy Gorton Taproom

No, that was just a bit of fun. But to use a modern, heavily armed force (and let's not forget the phosphorous bombs) against what is essentially a massive refugee camp is unforgivable. Unless you're Nick Griffin, or the Israeli government. Hell, even the Americans were getting embarrased.
