What about neville roach and wes wilkinson. Possibly Mark Watson, Lourenco anyone.
Shows how crap we have been in the past. I'm sure the a list of all the rubbish players we've had would make this thread the longest in the history of this forum.

It's a dog eat dog world. Goodall is worth a punt.
Bell looked a good player against Liverpool, and according to my brother, was the only decent Luton player against us.
-
He sure is a tough one mate. If we sign him, ill be 100% behind him, just saying if theres the offer there of Nish or Clarke i know who'd id want.
Clarke scored the goals when he was here couldn't ask for much more.
And as for the Southend fans not rating him? They were worshipping him for the majority of the season as he was the only one scoring for them.
I think he'd be a good signing and is a different striker to what we currently have.

Don't know whether there's any truth in this Kilkenny to Doncaster and Wellens back here rumour but, who would you rather have???
Not sure both as inconsistent as each other.

The bad news is that Trotman's yellow card today means he misses the Walsall game. The good news is that Ricketts got his fifth yellow card today so he will also miss the game.
Ricketts equalised at Port Vale in the last minute today, to create a record for Walsall of ten games away from home unbeaten. So it's the ideal time for us to bring that record to an end.
You sure? Trotman misses the Everton game, not Walsall.
Can't see Ricketts being banned for our game as well.
Hope you are right though!!

he's the man.............Hughesy!!
Just need Davies to keep on scoring!

To be honest - there isnt really such thing as the middle tier - that is just the back of the paddock, behind the pillars... Its like saying the chaddy has two tiers.... erm... nope...
In terms of singing - thing it will be led from the front, so to speak...
Aye know that just that there selling tickets in those sections thats all.

Oh i remmember those days, god we were awful.
We survived and York wen down, look were they are now!
The days when Craig Dudley looked to be the only player of our's with the slightest hint of pace.
-
i cant honestly believe that after last seasons dramatic anti climax, tta's wont give some money for the team in january, yes we are still losing money, but now we have planning approval and they can see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel, they have got to look at giving as much help as possible to push on and get out of this league.
players will move on naturally then and with all the freebies out there and the promise of new stadia we may be able to attract a better class of player.
but we defo need new blood in january.
Didn't Sheridan gain approval to sign some fresh faces.. but chose not to?

After the way many acted when Ronnie was here, I'm amazed someone still exists who actually remembers them days!!! Glad someone does!!!
Ohh I remember those days, its basically all i've witnessed.
Miskelly put in a great performance at Derby away, shamed he ballsd it up when it most mattered.
-
yep i got the last two also middle tier sold out only the paddock left
Middle tier is the part with the worst view apparently.

Kings Of Leon-Because of the Times.

I'm fairly sure we had Anti Niemi on trial as well, quite a while back now though. Now that was a big mistake not going for him!
I was impressed with Giddings when we had him on loan this season.
-
Nope, I've never booed a player. Not even players I can't stand. And never said I can't stand Liddell, nor that he's a bad player. I've said he's been an utter disappointment from what I expected. If he'd done what he did from Oct 06-Jan 1st 2007 then yes.....he would've been the player I expected. 3 months of effort from him from 2 and a 1/2 years. Sorry....but that's a joke, whether you like it or not!
Lidds started well here, then had that serious Achilles injury, in the Moore season, he never has really recovered from that in my opinion.
Granted he hasn't lived up to expectations, but he is far better than a lot of dross I have witnessed in my short(ish) time being a Latics fan.
On another subject, did we once have that Andy Gray on loan, the one whos currently at Burnley?
-
Unexpected revelations.. David Eyres.
Signing a 38 (?) year old winger from Preston.. didnt think he'd be as good as he was.. also didnt expect him to stay with us for that long.

No, No, No. You're thinking of the new young female steward
Oh yes!
The girl in the food outlet only seem's to say. "The pies are alrite no ones complained yet!!"
-
But how many of those whining got drenched on Saturday or at home to Forest, Wolves, Port Vale or Blackpool last season???
I've been sat in that stand for about 15 years, in a weird way i'll miss the paddock and the drenchings!
-
Frankly and Prozac - why not try having the decency to read S_W's post properly before you decide to take such offence?
I know I was going to post something like the above. But Sheridans World was getting at the fans like Chickers cough cough, who switched to the paddock this year just in the offchance that they will be moved into the Chaddy or Main Stand when the Lookers is demolished!
-
Was going to ask this on another thread.
What can the residents do now to prevent anything from being built/how its built?
No doubt they will try everything and anything.
-
Maybe he meant the sandwich shop ...
Yes the Sandwich shop!

A Subway in Shaw Centre.
New Swimming Pool.

who gives a flying as long as they get a ticket, come on lads and lasses are you really tellin me you're not goin unless you get a unrestricted view, next you'll be demanding prawn sarnies, god help us
I doubt the members of the Beardy Bus/Busses, will be able to see or remember most of the game
-
will beardy be able to purchase 104 tickets say for the beardy bus so we can all sit in the same area, paying £32 for the coach as opposed to £12.
Im sure with the link up OWTB and OAFC have that that wouldnt be an issue, well be worth asking anyway
102. Think Cloughie and his brother are going in the Everton end!
Good idea though, surprised it came from you Chickers
Greatest performance at Boundary Park by any player?

There was a Wycombe keeper that seemed to always play brilliantly against us.. Taylor I think his name was.
I remember Farrell at Posh ripping us to pieces when they beat us 4-1.
